No issues at all with the phone. Had it for almost a month and everything is well... Maybe ur just one very unlucky guy coz getting 3 malfunctioning phones is quite funny...
Btw, a superb phone. Pic quality is high end for cellphones, messaging is fast, receptions is good, display is very clear, voice command is kinda complicated but is cool, etc etc etc. The speaker is not that loud (compared to w550 with 3 speakers) but headset sound is crystal clear. Video is really not that good. Hope that it is possible to make the video quality better with the coming firmware updates, since a lot of people has M2 cards already.
Btw, i find the video ringtone very cool... Yes u can actually set like a video file that you downloaded as ur default/contact ringtone... and wont even cause your phone to hang...
Also, ive been checking reviews for this phone and the "Pole N73" and was able to observe that a lot likes K800i much better because of the stability and of course the superb Pic quality. they say N73 catches your eyes much faster but when you get it on your hands, youll just get disappointed, not because of the jampacked features, but because of the cellphone always hanging... Hope this helps.

Have just returned not one, but three k800i phones - big problems with black screen and myriad other weirdnesses. Waiting to hear if it's a bad batch, branding problem or dodgy model. Now looking for new model phone.
Anyone else experiencing this?

buddy to lock ur files all u need to do is to look for the software on net file lock i lock photo lock many of them area vailaible they work pritty well with sonye. phones i have k750 its works with it

good phone by camera vise but not sound vise...i miss the sound of w800i...i m not agree with it..

Awsome phone!! Exelent camera and great online 3G Stuff. On the other side the vidio leaves a lot to be desired and i cant turn the flash back on its gone from the menu and the shortcut key dosent work. grrrrr!

Lock Display:
Try the star button (you see it has a little key on it) then you'll get an option on your display to lock the display.

i have this phone for 2 weeks,i have to say its realy great,the photos are awesome.but i wanna ask someone is there any way to lock the phone like nokia has? i wanna keep my files private but i guess its imposible on SE phones????

Hi...
I have the k800i over 20 days ago, and the firts impertion is very good... But after some days that I used it... I found some stranges reset... or lose of services... the screen in black,,, and anything botton answer to me...
I want to know if any other people has the same problem.

this has to be one of the coolest phone on the market...apart from the fact that its pretty chunky bt has to hav the BEST camera quality!nothing beats it!!!!

k800: everything's good, except video quality is very bad, much worse than n73

I bought k800i two days ago, my opinion about k800i as follow:
- Image quality is excellent
- Sound quality is more clear than others
- Battery life is high capacity
- Working fast and without problem

the design are kinds cool in sumhow..was thinking to owe this model..but i cam accross the w850..even the w series is a 2MP cam phone..k800 is a 3MP cam phone..kinda to heavy to be applied as a phone..i guess thats most of it..i was wondering to compare these 2 models..anyone can asisit me??

My fren had it for about 1 month. She said everything's good and it beats N73 hands down. Defintely more sturdy than D900 as well. But she says the camera cover gets a bit loose..gosh..is that true? anyone has that prob?
