hey guyz who still wanted more picture taken from K800 and many more phones from SE,Nokia,Etc...
try esato.com and look at the camera pictures from various phone brand and even digicam brands...

Though I'm Nokia fan for many many years but recently I have not choice changed to SE phones cause all my friends using SE phones.
Initially, I bought the k750i and I was impressed with its 2mega camera and decided to change back to nokia n73 but kind of weired feeling that I seems to like SE phones over Nokia. Decided to try out K800, above my expectation and I'm very happy with my new K800 and sold my n73.
The camera for k800 is superb as well as the built in xenon flash, even it can capture good quality photos for moving objects. It hardly hanged compared to n73. The sms and mms superfast, though the screen are smaller than N73 but the wallpaper can enlarge to whole screen but n73 wallpaper only can displayed at the centre of the screen.
I think maybe only N93 photo quality can compare with K800 but the shape and size is rather big and ugly, somemore very expensive.

The SE K800 & SE K790 have almost the same features but still alot of ppl keep complaining about the K790 performance whereas K800 opinions are rather contradictory....WHY?

N73 or K800i?
it depends on your lifestyle.
if you need a phone with good organizer, you can take N73. although K800i has good organizer, its not as good as sony ericsson.
if you're after the camera, K800i is better. although N73 has good camera isnt bad.

Yes it does have macro mode and its good in taking closeup pictures.
text documents are crystal clear.

camera: highly comparable to N73 and to all other 3mp mobile cameras;
Joystick has improved alot in comparison to all previous SE's. haven't you noticed that neither someone have complained about it's joystick nor malfunctioning of it?
all it's departments are good mostly battery, though 900Mah would make it impossible. still it makes job best,.. phone can play music for a long time but not yet tested to drain it for music only...
K800 is SE's pride...

Going by comments here and other places, sounds like SE still have an issue with reception (signal strength). This is rediculous in this day and age ! This is the most important feature of all !

Hi m using K800i and i have 1GB memory card installed and have no problems at all with the phone slowing down but i think i have a problem with its reception dont know i think i have coz voice beaks downa little often otherwise Fone is kool but i believe its very fragile though.

i used to be a nokia user but after trying w810 for a while i decided to switch to SE & K800 seems to be the best but i'm still unsure about some issues like :
does that phone come with a 1GB Mimory Stick ?? i mean is it included in the sales package ??
& does it has the feature of playing music while the phone is off (like in w810)??

Bought both these phones (n80-K800i) and i have to point out that the n80 is useless when its battery does not last for a whole day. (All features switched off). You have to leave it just to look at it only, as if you use its features it will only last a few hours of a day. USELESS. K800i has not the features of the N80 but, a lot better camera and incredible flash unit. Does not freeze, and reliable phone, and best of all 2.5 days on the first charge taking photos and doing the normal calls and messages. Nokia did a big mistake here with this battery not the phone. So bye bye N80. Kept the K800i.

hi!
just got this phone and realised the company i bought it from has placed a bright yellow box with their name in it over the 'menu' word on the standby screen!
so now when i press the top right hand button next to the stick, it goes to their web page instead of the menu! and yes it is actually shown on the screen!
please help! does anyone know how to disable this and make the phone normal??

1) Does it record up to one hour of video in 176 by 144 pixels?
2) Can it download a 8MB of MP3 file to this phone?
3) Is the speakers very loud for music, recording video and voice with sound and incoming calls? (speakers spolit for very long time)
4) Is 3.2MP clearer than Nokia N73 and Samsung P850?
5) Does the joystick and lens cover get easily spolit?
6) How long can this phone last for two hours of music plus some other functions?
PLEASE TELL ME THE OTHER DETAILS IF I HAVE NOT MENTION SOMETHING ELSE.

it's indeed wrong information, My friend's K800 has 1Gb card and it's the fastest phone he have used after using 6630 before which has 1Gb rs-dv MMC everything about loading images,taking pictures are amazingly fast and many thing more.. micro M2 is faster than Pro Duo but no idea if micro is faster than HighSpeed PRO-DUO...

this phone does everything apart from 1 thing....the video? its only 174 x 144 where the n70 n80 and a few others do 352 x 288 and the video off them is amazing! but the real good point of this phone compared to n70 n80 ect is 1. the size its a normal size n70 and n80 to big. 2.when shooting video the light does not stay on,like the n70 n80. you can set a alarm all week at the same time...? like 8.30am monday to friday the set another alram for another time all week? and you can do this 5 times!! nokia n70 n80 you can set the alram for one day? then you have to remember to set it again for the next day? how retarded is that? nokia are going backwards. and finally just in case any body was wondering this phone as finally got it arse in gear and you are now can set a mp3 tune as ring tone, text message and alram woohoo usually you just get ringtone for mp3s were the nokia you can set mp3 ringtone as message alarm etc for years!! thats why i've always had nokias, but had the n70 and once i saw the alarm and the flash won't work how they should and my brother has the n80 it was an easy choice to change to the k800 but soon as the video sorted this will easlly be the best phone out there by a mile. i hope this as help some one.

i've heard that the 1G memory card slows this phone down too much, and that it's better to get the 512, as it doesn't slow the phone down too much.
can anyone confirm or deny this?

Hi Rex I would suggest u to buy the K800. im using the K800 at the moment..and i feel that phone such a great phone ever, i mean about the pic quality u wont b disappoint.. nothing to worry about the sound quality aswell,and the appearance is quiet nice and comfortable.so i would suggest u to buy this phone.good luck man.u'll like it..

that sharp 903 desgin n the colour suck man .. i dun like if can choose compare to sharp n SE .. i will choose SE .. of coz SE!! .. becoz it is SONY !! .. good camera ... n good brand of coz ...
