Hey guys, does one need to get any kinda phone antivirus for the k800? someone told me if iwasnt careful, i could accidentally download a virus that could crash the phone through bluetooth. thanks

jaoboi, if you want phone with torch, i can guarantee K750 is your choice. The LED is dammm bright.. K800's serve more as a flash, not as torch. And unless you really desperate to have internet with you all the time, get a PDA, they give you a better Wifi connection. I've heard from someone that N80 is a failure product (failure in camera, a lot of software crashes and so on). i could be wrong though.. I have K800, it serve all my purpose (btw, i also have K750..lolx)

K800I indeed live up to it's name ok.. The flash with the autofocus makes it perfectly great.. u can take photos even in the darkest part of earth serious!

for your information.. different countries got different m2 cards included so if your country dont include any dont be surprised.. dont need to expect m2 card to be included.. depends on how your country's decision so gd luck ^^

Dear Fellows,
Good day, well i am one of the biggest fan of Sony Ericsson and currently residing in UAE. K800 has a loophole in it in this region. I just bought it and kept for 2 days. SONY ERICSSON K800 DOES NOT WORK WITH ETISALAT's NEW SIM CARD. if you have an old sim car which is 3volts then its fine. if you want to buy a new sim card which Etisalat has launched it with 5volts then Sony ericsson does not support that SIM. I have confirmed it from Etisalat and then from AXIOM finally i had to give it back. This Cell is awesome i really don't see any other option but in this region i don't know when they will fix it. I hope people planning to buy it in UAE will keep this fact in mind before buying it.

Does anyone tell me why in different region
k800i have different memory ! some with no memory card (M2), another with 256 MB (M2) and another with 512 MB (M2) ! which of them is original one ,thanks .

Love this phone but is there anyway to use custom message tones? Standard ones are way too short.

This phone is Amazing!!. The Xenon flash make pictures at niht spotless. And you can play music or videos all day and it doesnt drain the battery that much. The K800i is rated the best cell phone of today and the camera phone of tomorrow. People say that the video isnt that good but its actually very decent. i recommend all the way!!

For those who need a torch light from the phone, simply buy a torch light...
Need a simple, fast responsive and a good camera phone-K800i
Need a versatile phone but don't mind slow and with a reasonable good camera phone-N70.
Need a good video phone-Nokia 6280.
Need a good walkman loud music phone-W550.
Difficult to find a phone with everything of the above.

I think this fone is not good. it got not so much nice features like n80. n80 got wifi and led so you can use as torch. i think people must get the n80 if they didn't yet get dis fone!

K800i is the best phone in the world, but it has one minus:
Menu -> Calls -> Manage calls -> Accept calls -> Only from list, this functions is not working corectly: unknown numbers are always accespted.

No you cant use the flash as a light as it is a xenon flash not an led light

I got mine recently, and I was wondering if I can switch the flash as a flash light, or SOS signal cuz i know the K750i has this feature.

I have replaced my nokia6280 with the new SE K800i. The phone is excellent in one word. The music quality was not upto the expectations. in some of the wav files the clarity was too below the standards of SE phones. The camera and the flash quality is excellent. Video dj has its disadvantages cos onyl 3gp files can be utilised for remixing the tones.The back camera cover is of very cheap quality and there are mere chances of getting loose after some time.Very disappointing that SE don't provide a memory stick with the pack.Well any one looking for a good and compact camera phone.....its the best no competitor will stand to it.Its' Granted.

Image stabilizer works fine, but you have to read the manual in what mode it works.
