My battery is lasting fine *touch wood*. I get a good 3 days out of it. Im waiting for pay day on Tuesday to order my 1gb m2 card. So far the cheapest I have found is £37 (ish) from mobymemory.com. Are there any other places that you guys know of ?

this is an excellent camera phone. having that xenon flash is a real advantage. but if you are looking for the best 3.2mp camera phone, sharp 903 still owns the throne. it has 2x optical zoom and gets clearer and lesser noise pictures. but this k800 has its own advantage using the xenon flash which makes it more like a digicam.

I owned my k800i for 2 weeks now and i honestly can't say anything bad about it. Stuff that you hear about build quality only happen to unlucky models. best of all, its so easy to update the firmware of SE phones unlike nokia.
The n73 will have a great camera, but it won't surpass the k800 because of bestpic and xenon flash alone. carl zeiss doesn't do anything compared to actual functions. And seriously, having a real flash is MUCH better than have a flashlight. Id rather take better pictures at night than using the phone to look for things in the dark.
The only real advantages of the n73 is that it uses the more common miniSD card (but M2 may actually last longer than the duo), has a bigger screen (but what for if there's no wifi?), and has a better video recorder (biggest advantage). The OS is only an advantage for people who actually fully utilize it. I didn't make good use of my n-gage's os so i switched to sony ericsson. Its such a relief too since it runs so much faster than a smartphone.

Sorry to mentioned that I buy and used only Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones...
I changed phone very often, so far Se and Nokia phone are the most user friendly and best performance phone.
I tried a few motorola & Benq Siemens phones, not user friendly and camera quality far more inferior than Nokia & SE.
So buying Se or Nokia phones is still the wise choice, at least good resale mkt values..

I have both K750 and K800. My K750 only can store average of 150sms (both inbox and send out message) but now my k800 already have about 300 more sms and still never shown sms full. Anyone here, can advise how many sms can K800 store?
By the way, N73 may be out but for sure symbian phones worked or response much slower due to the softwares. I also think that so far K800 is the only phone built with a photographic flash (similar to digital camera) & I doubt N73 has the same flash. So far, I send out sms and mms with my k800, super fast. Lastly, N73 are a more powerful phone in terms of softwares and also the VGA superior video quality but the design not so appealing and also the size (n70 design better).
Thanking in advance for reading and advise on how many sms can K800 store...

N73 will be the main competitor of K800. N73 is a smartphone, it means that you can intall 3rd party programs because it has symbian S60 OS, Bigger screen than K800 (2,4 vs 2 inches), stereo speakers, quad band and EDGE.
N73 use carl zeiss optics but these optics are no warranty of better performance in pics quality (see N90 vs K750, the last one is the best 2mp camera phone and beat N90).
Now the K800 advantages: S60 is a nest of bugs. Like other nokias smartphones, the battery life will be mediocre, and now with fastest processor in comparisson with the slow N80, the phone will work half a day, EDGE is useless in countries where UMTS is used, if your operator has EDGE and no UMTS go with K790.
Cyber-shot tech like best pic, and xenon flash. I hate in my W800 the night shot because the noise in the photos, i see few pics in dark enviroments with K800 and really impress with the flash, finally a real camera in a phone!!
Screen, nokia has bigger screen but SE screen has better colour rendition than nokias one. its small but is better.

The k800i as been compared to the N80 but wins easily but next week the Nokia N73 is going to be released,so the K800i will now be facing a chase to see which will be the best camera mobile up till know, the joystick on the K800i an the slider for the camera put me off keeping the K800i until i checked out the N73 to see if it will beat theK800i with it features an reliability, also whats the best to have a flash or light function on either camera,i like the light on the K750i it help you in dark conditions but theres no light help on the K800i,so see what the N73 light can match the K750ione,i will then make the correct decision which one to get or return

Peoples competeing the N80 an K800i to be the ones to compare, but next saturday the Nokia N73 will be available an will really challenge the K800i regaurding the camera features ,the K800i joystick put me off keeping this mobile plus the slide cover ,The N73 seems more to my choice an can"t wait to use the camera on it to see which one is the best one, then we will see whos the best seller between these two instead of the unreliable N80 that was Nokias cock-up for me

dont compare the w series to the k series in the first place. there is a new walkman phone announced every 2 months (9 models i think starting only last year). There will be a better k phone next year (following the k cycle), definitely with updated features. expect stuff like 5mp camera, better video recording, possibly wifi and hopefully smaller in size. but its up to your needs if you want to upgrade, because going from a k750 to a k800 isn't a huge leap for example.

even if a k850i is, trust me, itll be hardly anything different from the k800i.. when sony ericsson bought out the 'new' w810i, it was exactly the same as the w800i, all apart from he fact that the w800i actually had louder speakers than the w810i! so, i really doubt if they did bring the k850i out, itd be anything different from the k800i.. although, ive never even heard anything of this k850i phone, and i have my own k800i. great phone i must say, love the camera and the bluetooth nd internet speeds.. my friend sent me a 5.5mb file in about 2 minutes yesterday, from his k750i
