the k800 is finally available for pre-order from the carphone warehouse. Yay!!! will be delivered at the end of the month, only available on sim free and o2 contract at the moment, but is available on voda and orange from the 1st of july.

o2 will be offering the cheapest roaming charges and bundles from end of july/august due to the buyout from telefonica

thanks for launching this phone but what about also superb k790.cannot wait to get my hands on that k790..please lauch it this week, although they both are same thing.

for who sed vodafone are the worst nope,no other network can off unlimtied txs and picture messaging and 3000 xnet mins anytime plus stop the clock and 50 vid call mins a month for £99 or 1000 mins with all the following for £60 or 500mins for £40 with all the following,plus if ur abraod u only pay a 75p connection n the rest of the call comes out of ur free mins,and losing 28 billion is peanuts for voda the 28 they lost is worth more than 02 5 times overalone,and they lost this money due to buying out major networks abroad,and i think voda get all the fones b4 anyone else,only vodafone have the best fones first,and orange are the only rival to them 02 are in trouble

O2 Supply chain currently set at 28/06/06 ( was originally week commencing 26/06/06 anyway so this was never the actual release date) therefore any pre orders will be despatched on that date....

this is one of my choices.. but i'm more interested to N73.. but if that phone did not come out in a few weeks, i might be getting this one. :)

Normal people will buy this phone... people who look for "quality and better characteristics" choose phones running real operating systems like Windows Mobile or Symbian. Only different from this and other SE phones at the price range is the camera. Not even the design is unique. Yes, it looks good but it looks average and looks like all the other SE phones with very similar design.

n73 looks like a better choice. both phones have interesting design but SE its looks like a plain black box as gsmarena first look review said... while n73 looks more shiny because of the stainless steel, screen is bigger, and it have edge and utms.

k750i was a very superb camera phone. and k800 must surpass its decendants. i dont have this phone but planning to get one. my k750i still meeting my expectations. may i raise a question : does this k800 have a tv out like the k750 i rival, the samsung d600.

To Gagbag. Only the K790a will be available in Canada not the k800. I think it's better you buy it from ebay.

Z710 beats K800 in display & in the design category handsdown..their features are almost identical, neither handset can claim huge advantage over the othere..SE K800 to have a better camera, better bluetooth, better mp3, but samsung is a better phone.. SE puts too much attention on camera & music functionalities, but "normal" people wont buy a phone becoz of that..they buy a phone because it looks good & can do a lot of other things..hey tarantula, even if u put those 2 handsets side by side & ask the people which is a better handset, Samsung Z710 will be their choice..Y?becoz it's a "BORING" handset with exagerrated features & while Z710 is good-looking hadset with nice features!by d way, I had K750i b4 and the joystick screwed up after a few weeks!see, SE focuses on features other than the hardware!how can u operate the K800 when your joystick doesnt work!

I had a T610 and actually have W800 and joystick problems never present for me in both phones. maybe is a problem with thumbs like sefreak says... its hilarious

HI,
Just wondering whats going on with the boring erricson design department. I see too many similarities between the V630, k790, k800, k750. UUUUUURRRRRR sorry for my yawning but it just all looks the same to me. Do they think we are are suckers. It must be hard being in the catch up business these days behind Nokia and Samsung maybe the expense/finacial loss of the Playstation 3 has had a significant impact on the expenditure for its mobile phone sector------design department needs a futureistic kick up the perverbial. Sony today, nokia tomorrow....end of story.

Vodafone have now chnaged there release date of the K800i now to TBA from the 7th july!! typical vodafone, can never give a exact release date! and i work for them!
