choi,

mobile-review.com just gives early opinions on both phones, we cant fortell if the phone prototype used in the review will just have same camera qualities when released, remember that mobile-review says n90 to have better close-ups than k750(they have the prototype models at that time) while it is proved in gsmarena/mobilemania and many other sites that k750 macro focuses far better than n90, and has better color rendition than nokia, this will reflect also the early conclusion about k800 and n93, another is that n73 is the real competitor, not the n93, and SE together with other brands will design a an all in one phone(with better size) in the right time.

My uncle is a an engineer who had helped create this product on paper along with other collegues and he told me that they are using better joystick technology on this product than the last K750 because it was having too many problems...

            to all s.e. fans:
just admit that sony ericsson fones just like this 1 the K800, is not always the best.Sometimes S.E. wins but sometimes looses.. and admit that this fone is no match to N93's camera capabilities and not to mention the over all performance..
you have read the review(from mobile-review) and just accept it.. you'll get over it soon.:-)

Just a quicky - got phone today - so far so good. Got a great screen on it - and pic quality looks really good.

Interesting that Vodafone are using the two little keys on left and right of the joystick as green and red start keys. I don't beleive the standard K800 has this - though that may just be older pics

Will post again when i've tried it out properly

another is that, sony's own CCD sensor is no match to their New Enhanced CMOS sensor which produced most quality pictures than a CCD, maybe this CMOS i was talking about is a question but it's true , and this was explained and proved by sony cybershot, handycam

K800 will surely be the best imaging phone...,,, as far as the Technologies VS. Lens...

Just Tarantula said, the SE has it's partner Handycam,Cybershot and Walkman, in the near future they will use other trademark technologies such as Clie,Vaio,PSP, or even Bravia for Great quality displays...

In NOKIA, Name+Famous Lens Trademark= NOKIA still...

                          in SE Technology + lens + NAME trademark= Cybershot,Handycam

that is what i am talking about so i said NOKIA will not Beat SE that simple...

I'm with everyone else RE: the joystick. i work at a mobile phone shop, and the number of SE phones with faulty joysticks is huge. I would have thought with all the user feed back they would have gotten rid of it and when with something similar to the W810 and some of their lower end phones... Other than that thou, it does look quite appealing. Will be interesting when i get one of these in my hand.

The tendency is clear, camera phones will replace regular digital cameras gradually. Who dont use a cell phone?? and go to every place with your phone, if it has a good camera you use it for capture all moments and this fact avoid usage of DSC because it implies carry an extra DSC and for the regular user isnt comfortable.
Nokia, SE, LG and Samsung view this situation and they build their own strategies for the near future. This is the reason for the birth of SE Cyber-shot models and nokia carl zeiss camera phones. LG has 5MP camera phone with sonys ultramobile CCD cyber-shot sensor (LG KG920) and Samsung with 10MP CCD camera phone (only in korea)
And nokias lenses isnt worst than sonys cyber-shot/handycam, the problem is that nokia buy camera sensors from others, they dont manufacture sensors and dont develop in technologies in this field. Nokia only correct and optimize firmware issues to obtain maximum quality in photos. This isnt the case in SE, they have all tech available in this field, thanks to sony cyber-shot partner. In K800 SE start to use this advantage with features like image stabilizer, best pic and others.
And nokias CZ camera phones is intended to convince users to choose a camera phone instead of a DSC, for this is Carl Zeiss lenses.
But in N93 for example, the regular user search great image quality, and see N93 with 3x optical zoom and 3,2MP with AF and think: Its for me!, but the user will pay for extra functions like wifi, S60, enhanced EDGE (useless) VGA video and others, N93 will be very expensive. Probably N73 its the real competitor of K800 and for sure K800 will beat N73 like K750 vs N90.

I had the K750i an like the phone but the only thing i found a bit of a draw back was the Joystick ,why doesn"t Sony Ericsson change the joystick to something easier to use like just pressing a button, dust easily got round the Joystick on the K750i an the K800 seems to have the same Joystick an i am sure it will put people off who had the K750i getting the K800,i didn"t wait for it to be released an got the Nokia N80 instead
