Man cybershot vs, carl zeiss? the two are trademarks of a sony digital camera. so i think both are equal. Sony technology knows how to create best mobile digital cameras so no need for a very expensive carl zeiss lens. to make it the better. i'll just wait for the camera test between 3mp phones samsung,se,nokia,benq-siemens and sharp. please stop comparing k800 and n93 coz it's price are different. compare it with the n73.. whose i think nokia comes hot to make competition with k800 cybershot...

You can't compare N93 to K800 it's impossible as they are both in different class. Nokia is releasing 2 3mpx fone's one is the N80 which is nothing infront of the K800 as K800 is far better and superior then N80 and N93 which yet SE has not released any fone to compare it with. SE still has to release fone's of 3mpx as presently the only one is K800. The N93 has only opitcal zoom which the K800 is missing otherwise, image stabilizer, xenon flash, best pic, pict bridge, wma player, real player and awhole lot of stuff you don't find in Nokia. Nokia sucks by far, you can have a stylish phone as with SE or you can have an ugly brick as with Nokia...
"step out from the crowd with a Sony Ericsson or be with the crowd and a loser with a Nokia."

well TM that's again your opinion and i must admit too that Carl zeiss has a big contribution in exceling the images in sony cameras. im also a nokia and samsung fan and maybe i should think that in order to beat carl zeiss a camera has to have image stabilizer with anti-blur system just like in the new sony cameras. hoping that they filled it to the k800 and i look at the pics and you're right. but still i didn't believe until the final firmware version has been released even the z710 review did not made me believed.(remember that mobile review said n90 have better macro than k750 which is not and i have many proves about that) and also i choose k800 coz i dont want to have bulky device with a good imaging features coz here many snatchers are there if they saw a man with something inside his pocket they're surely get it from you. another is that i dont need an os phone coz it gives me headache of having bugs and viruses (surely s60 3rd edition viruses will arrive any moment of this time but praying not to come). another is that any digital cameras are created without OS so no need
k800 has a lot of features that suit my practical life no need to put all coz PCs/PDAs/Laptop can do more than that.
and about mediocre Tarantula was saying yes s60 is mediocre. it can't still beat the best functionality given by a PC Keyboard/PDA touchscreen can do.
back to the topic: i also prefer k800 coz i expect it to have lower price coz iwont believe that carl zeiss and symbian 9.1 will cost the same with it. and if it does. i expect it to have bugs like n90 and n70 os. so Btw. it's my opinion again. peace TM...

OK, I looked again very carefuly at the pictures and overall comparison between K790/800 and N93. I don't want to be considered as either Nokia or SE fan (cause I'm not). The statements are my opinion only and of course you can disagree. There are four comparison sets of pictures at mobile-review.
1)Low light, outside: N93 winner, very clear picture. SE second and N80 last.
2)Macro (renault): N93 winner, SE & N80 comparable.
3)Inside (pub): N93 winner (I like it colors there), SE second but comparable rather with N80 than N93
4)outside (cloudy): N93 again a winner, SE second but comparable again rather with N80 than N93.
SE K790/800 and N80 have similar noise level, N93 has less noise. N93 still have "Nokia colors" but the difference is barely visible and sometimes it look better, like on the inside (pub) picture. I personaly prefer more warm colors over icey blue from SE.
Other pros and cons:
zoom - N93
flash - definitely SE
video - definitely N93
size and weight - SE
OS - N93 (it depends of the preferences, some ppl won't really need a OS phone)
I wouldn't buy a no OS phone anymore, I like S60 and dont think it is mediocre system. I can live without touchscreen and don't think that touchscreen is so important, its useful though (I rather think that it is another feature kids are happy about). I was considering buying the SE P990 but now I think I will chose this. I'm biologist and dont really need a bosiness phone rather entertainment one. The PIM options on S60 are enough for me and the fact that thic device has 3D acceleration and that future N-Gage games will be working on it I consider as a very big plus.
But that is only my opinion :)

QUESTION: Does this have the in-ear headphones and headset that come with W810i? Is the music quality the same? Thanks.

well TM thats ur opinion but for me k800 excels coz i look at the comparison cery carefully. remember that both phones are in beta firmwares and i based the n93 to be more later in beta firmware than k800. time will tell us man. and i'm sure Sony technology wont bring us inferiority to their very own carl zeiss optics technology. nokia has to be more in features but the quality and the better hardware are not that good.

P990 is a REAL SMARTPHONE, UiQ is far better OS than mediocre S60. QWERTY and all email solutions with touchscreen. N93 is a great device but S60 simply is a mediocre OS to this phone with these features. And mobile-review comparisson between N93 and K800 reveal that these phones have different white balance configuration, N93 is better but only slight better with blue predominance like all nokia camera phones, colors in K800 are more realistic, N93 has better macro mode and less noise in poor light conditions, K800 has real flash light and make real difference in dark enviroments.
Conclusion: P990 is better than N93 in functionality and productivity because UiQ OS and technologically N93 win with better camera and video, K800 is camera phone with great image quality almost the same to N93, the direct rival of K800 is N73

I have just read the N93 camera review on www.mobile-review.com (see for yourself) and I must tell that N93 makes a way better (not just slightly better) pictures than K790/K800. Video quality is uncomparable at all, QCIF to VGA 30FPS, don't make me laugh :D
Why have two devices when you can have one and better :D

well if the p990i and K800i will hit the market at he same time yipee!. no more need of waiting i will buy them both cuz i want a smart phone and a camera phone but not combo just in n93. and i think the two phones will speak for itself later. by the way i saw some n93 shots at symbian9.com and on my opinion based on the pics on that site comparing to the pics of the k800i the CZ will bring again color problems too bright than usual maybe. and in macro Cybershot stands better a bit in their comparison (theyre both in beta firmware so for me it's a good comparison)BTW i can also say n93 pics would be one of the best but not the best.. rock on SE Cybershot!

K800 looks quite business-like, & love the feature set. Only thing though is that I understand video quality is only qcif (same as my K750) - Come on SE, that's so last year! My (other phone) Sharp903 has got a great video mode.
K800 out in the summer, which is about the same time Nokia N73 out - same if not slightly larger feature set incl 3.2mp AF cam (though no xenon flash), same weight n approx size...If you occasionally take video w your camera, the Nokia may be a nicer buy.
