I am trying to decide wheather to choose K790i (EDGE)or K800i (3G). K800 has extra camere, video phone and blogger service and k790i does not. From what I hear 3G is comming this year to T-mobile and Cingular so unless that does not happen k800 is the choice. I'm not sure what is going to be the standard in U.S. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

i would love dearly to buy this phone, as it looks better than the n73, and over all has equal feature set, but the qcif video recording and the smaller screen tilts my decision to the n73. how can se justify still putting qcif video recording on such a phone, and not even the qvga recording fron the w900. poor

juz wanna know... k800 is using memory stick micro isn't it, then how much is that memory stick? is that very expensive???

Nokias cameras are better. BECAUSE they are carl zeiss optics whick is aperantly usen in sony cameras. ( y dnt sony ericson use them?!?

Cant make a full feature phone?
Dont want to sell or what i always buy Nokia i told my self next time give Sony Ericsson a try i saw the K800 i liked it alot i told my self i will wait and buy this phone when it arrives here in Kuwait and replace my nokia 9500 but after reading the specs the K800 has 3G but dosent support EDGE!!! the K790 supports EDGE but no 3G!!! this means i have to chose between video calls or EDGE i cant have both! is this a joke? you know what i did i went to the electronics store and purchased the new Nokia N80 it has everything i need specialy EDGE and 3G
I really wanted to give Sony Ericson a try but Sony Ericsson dosent want me and lots of other people to buy its products!

no this phone does not use pro duo it uses Memory Stick Micro M2

Yes, samsung has 10MP camera phones, but this market is korea, no other country and dont wait for this phone in europe and americas. LG has 5MP camera phone with great quality and is the unique manufacturer to offer a phone with 5MP camera in european market. And sharp only beat SE in camera quality in 1,3MP models GX30/32 vs S700, the 2MP models (902)always loose to K750i and the advantage in sharp models is 2x optical zoom.
And Samsung presented an interesting model in Z710 3,2MP with CCD matrix (firmware is unfinalized), but in mobile review the photo quality is inferior to K800 3,2MP CMOS.
The conclusion: K800 is the best camera phone at the moment.

to ady: number of pixels doesn't really speak for anything but output size for picture print outs. it doesn't have much to do with the quality of photos though. although i share your sentiment with the cam comparison thing since sharp phones basically destroy se and nokia when it comes to cam quality. but then again, samsung phones are really not well known for cam quality but by the screen quality only - nothing more than that if i may add

Sony Ericsson is always my love. K800 is also a very nice phone with very nice features like 3.2 MP AF Camera, i compare the picture quality of K800 with Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-P100 and i m shocked the picture quality is almost same, Hey WILMA (K800) will u be my next girlfriend ???

The K800 looks like a great phone. Does anyone know if it comes with World Mate Lite application installed, similar to what the Z800i has?

hy..i have 1 simple question..why samsung doesn't challenge nokia and sony ericsson ..at 3mp camera ?...samsung z710 has 3.2mp camera ...why ?

How to challenge NOKIA when all the new sony ericsson phones have NO WI-FI! (Wireless LAN) Why sony? Why? Definately lose out.

Another person wanting to know when the K800 is being released!
SE have told me June, O2 have told me three different dates (End of May, sometime in June now their website states its available July)
SE have always, in my opinion, given the best quality of phones, that are easy to use and compact. If anyone can find a better phone let me know!
