nokia dont have a chance against samsung or sony ericsson they are most popular brands , even lg beats nokia.

nokia already gone bankrupt how long till they go bankrupt again....wats that the new wave of nseries they dont sell anything compared to sony ericsson w880i or k750i or samsung d600 i think nokia need to go back a step and rethink there phones i mean wots smartphones there exactly same as phones but just slower and harder to use.. nokias cameras are notorious for being the worst as the carl zeiss lense puts a yellow tint on the picture. the macro is appaling and close ups are like cif resolutuion cameras.

nokia have failed and are going bankrupt sooner or later.

nokia is planing to launch the new nseries wave, because the currect one is planned to hit the shelves around this month. the n93 with 3.2mpx optical zoom, carl seiss optics, and autofocus. and the n73 with carl seiss, autofocus, but without the optical zoom (this is the n70 succesor!!!) nokia is not far behind they are just playing their cards inteligently and lot letting the competition copy their feature sets as other companies tend to do. the k800 had camera as advance but now nokia is going to release mass carl seiss phones plus QVGA +screens, and mp3 (the one n91 the best in the market) are the max for today. sony and samsung are going to suffer, because compared to the n80 its a step to catch it up.

In addition, Nokia are fast being left behind by SE and Samsung because all handsets they plan to launch are either very (very) big or completely basic with respect to funtions/features. Hope that helps somewhat.

Went to Cebit and saw and had a play with it. It's heavier than expected, but the build quality is very tough and materials used are solid. It's a smart phone with a very good camera - despite all critics of functionality, this phone does exhibit cyber-shot technology and printed photo solution far exceeded that of any other phone currently, or expected to be, released on the consumer market in 2006. That said, the company that stole the show in every respect (phones, plasmas/lcd tvs, laptops, etc.) was Samsung and the D870 drew much more attention than the SE phones. It's lighter and far smaller than the SEK800, but the materials used on it feel too plastic and the handset looks to damage easily if dropped or knocked. A friend of mine, who is a well-known handset trader (all models) prefers the SE. I'd still buy D870 because of it's ultimate portability and versatility. Samsung's range of other new models (not featured yet on this site, and whose names/codes I can't presently recall) are to watch out for - they have some very good handsets coming out towards the latter half of this year.

And as I know too well, both manufacturers are likely to make consumers wait until Summer 2006 to release these handsets.

                            Dear friends !

No company in this planet can beat the Brand SONY and Sony Ericsson is not an exception.Whether its a TV , Cyber-shot , Walkman , Handycam or any other thing.
Even when people go to the electronic shop they refer to Personal Music player and Recording Cameras as Walkman and Handycam respectively. Now this is another thing that they actually refers to lots of companies making these types of similar products and they are unaware that they are actually using the brand names of SONY.
So , i must say that SONY is like.no.other !

Yeah I guess some of you guys are right, they throw in a couple of Cybershot features into a 3.2 megapixel phone camera and it gets people thinking it's gonna take Cybershot quality pictures! nice strat :) but i still love k800. I don't find the design ugly. it's simple, neat and doesn't scream 'it's a teen phone!'

putting the word cybershot on the device doesn't mean that it will have a cybershot picture quality. all what they did is just WRITING the name on the device. i've seen sample pics taken from this device and it's nothing compared to the actual sony cybershot camera's. so it's only a fake thing SE did for the purpose of presenting and innovating new things, which i really found stupid.

Dahm!.. This is a real phone I liked! For all the First Sony Ericsson is a SUPER good brand, because I have a S700i and it lasted for nearly 2 years already and i'ts still in a good condition!!! I'm thinking to change it for a next level, like a K800! Keep it up, before a better one comes!

my next choice is this cellphone :)

I agree this is a very functional phone, with the latest tech and features, but still it´s only focused to a one-kind of personality. I think Nokia has the advantage because they center on all type of situation.
