I hope the build quality is not as slugish as k750i, crack noise after a month od delicate use.

I hoped the k800 to be with Dual loudspeakers like Alcatel s853, but seems not:(((( And also hoped for good video, but also seems not - only 220x176.
I really hoped but now i sorry.

            To 2Zu9,

I'm not backing off from thanking you for your insight, i actually ment to send you an email to tell you what i wanted to, but apparently my email client is busted so i can't lol.

It's simple really, i just did a web search for "define:PDA" and "what is PDA" on google, and not one site i found stated that PDA falls under Windows OS or RAM. Not that i wanna bash you at all, actually i am interested to know further that's why. So if you can send me more info on where PDA is defined under WIndows OS and RAM and not just being a norm please send me a link to my EMAIL!

I don't wanna go off topic with you here over something irrelevant to the K800, and i surely don't wanna flood the forum here either with it.

            Thanks again,
            regards,

err... Lami.. i am quite concerned with your statement saying that nokia fans will always be nokia fans. To be honest, that is not always the case. I used to use nokia but i am not really a nokia fans. I am more of a sony ericsson fans. And btw, P990 is more of a smartphones since it operates using Symbian OS, not windows OS (which is the clear separations between PDA and Smartphone). PDA usually will have RAM as well (in which case, P990 does not have RAM). ^_^.. just want to rectify a little bit (excuse me if i am being impolite for doing so)

Pv9c guy... well.. from the way you speak, it seems like you underestimate the importance of battery life. Just to let you know because i had a terribly bad experience about a battery life (that really pissed me off). I used to be in the 3 in 2003, when the phone was only produced by japanese company NEC. I had this really bulky 3G phones and the battery only last a day (just mainly for standby). I just want to tell you, i charged the phones in the morning and by evening you have like only one bar left and you know that you will have to recharged the battery (although you only use for a lil bit of smsing and calling, mostly standby).

I have once was in the evening party with my fren, and realise that i have this phone dying because of the battery life strictly limited to one day. After that experience, i swear to myself: I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY PHONES WITH A VERY SHORT BATTERY LIFE. No matter how cool the feature is (remember? in 2003, phones with video call ability was considered to be an elite one), the best phone is the one that can serve its purpose as a communicator device in the time when you need it. In this case, i believe N80 wouldn't perform as bad as that phone, however, i would rather to find phones that has a longer battery life ^_^. Cheers mate.

That's not true .. when it comes for the release date , SE always come first if we compare with Nokia models. Usually when SE announced its' new model , the phones will be available next quarter. The P990 model is different case, since they're upgrading the features. For those who dun know , there're 4 quarters a year , and this model falls between june to sept( maybe ).

k790 & k800 both have same camera quality and video quality which is. . .
                            220x176 @ 15 frame/sec

                              hold your breath friends . . . . . . . .
                              k800 video capture resolution is . . . . . . . . 220x176
this is because SE is going to launch higher videos resolution phones for the next range maybe k900 or k990
i particularly beleive that k790 & k800 hardware is capable of capturing 320x240 and they are just a flash of firmware away to capture high resolution video

i hope specs change till release

So the battery only is important for calls??? Lol, try to use all the wifi and other stuff from n80 and you´ll see where the bat life goes

So the P990 is a PDA??? lol the P990 (like w950) is a proper smartphone, not a kids smartphone like nokia s60´s toys

let's just settle this debate. if u want ease of use and user friendliness - n80. if u want superb quality music and top of the range camera - k800. I personally prefer the k800 because of the cybershot and the mem stick micro. the music quality is also brilliant.
