If i'm having a software problem, i juz upgrade at home (very easy) or i just drop by at any service centre, they have the machine call update service. The service centre customer service is very friendly and nice. Dat's y i bought sony due to their good service and also good phone

Crasher, 07 Aug 2009I've had this phone for 2 and a half years now, it has been... moreif your having connection problems with the fastport just clean it with a clean toothbrush. it works perfectly for me

I've had this phone for 2 and a half years now, it has been great! As it's getting old, it's getting a little bit laggy, but nothing to worry, it can crash if you use it for a long time watching TV, watching videos, 3G or whatsoever. Besides that, after 2 years or so some bugs appear, like the applications appear 2 or 3 times in the list, the charger and headphones don't make really good contact(you really have to learn how to charge this phone, but you will). After all, for 2 years this phone is incredibly good, I recommend it! Anyway, i've also been always using it to the limit(internet,music,video,tv,games)...

SB, 04 Aug 2009My SE k800i keeps receiving incoming calls later as text me... moremaybe the message turns out to be a voicemail cos if the other phone was calling and did not hang up while your phone has stopped ringing you would eventually be put on to an answering machine.

there are some instructions on the website.
you can upgrade it to k810 if you wish but i think its much better to stick with k800 firmware R8BF003
you can open the applications and games you wanted.

Sony ericsson cybershot always ensures to give the best... when it comes to taking pictures....i have this cell so i know... and it doesn't hangs freeze like nokia cells haha ... and it functions very fast, i don't have any problems with this cell love it... ;-) i also like taking videos using k8 ... cos k8 can handle it all.like so long recording videos.. that's why xenon flash what its got..and cybershot cells of sony ericsson compared to their sony ericsson walkman cells music player?haha, sorry but i can say about it their walkman cells are good for the music player surely but not good enough.. i don't like their walman cells-camera always just wasting using it and sony ericsson cybershot..?even more good at music player too..i love the xenon flash of k8 ,..k8 is so worth it ...got even camera pixels-switcher ...very unlike nokias,..haha..more of the nokia got led flash only, just nokia n82 and nokia n86 i guessed there got the xenon flah also good thing... but when it comes to connectivities nokia cells are not complete because they doesn't have infraed which cybershot got... they only have,,...bluetooth,usb-coonection,synchronization.. those only i guessed from what i've seen...

how can i uprade its software to the latest one?? the application and games doesn't work anymore. when i click them it says 'operation failed'. if i upgrade it to the latest software, will it fix this problem?? PLEASE HELP. D:

really i do love that phone and i haven't thought about changing it..but a small problem is that the is a little bit low and recently i had a mysterious problem..as the images corrupt after i shot it i don't know why???

Thanks to the producer of k800i. Its not just a phone but a 'technology' .a flash player,pdf reader should be incorperated if possible so that we cant enjoy it in full. Kpaka

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2009i had this phone for over a year and it has proven to be a ... moreme too.. i just had it for about a year and a half.. then one day when i turned it on.. it won't. I had it fixed at the SE service center, bu they said it won't work anymore. isn't it unfair? I don't get a good explanation why?.. now i'm no longer satisfied with sony ericsson. Even if i'm a fan.. i no longer trust the product.. their site is not open to comments.
