When you update the firmware... will it also change the look of the interface/display? Such as, in this review the K800's mp3 player is the standard grey one, and the camera menu's highlight is orange... while the new C702 has black standard mp3 player and the camera menu looks different. Also the font used is different.
Is this due to the theme, firmware, or neither?

Question: I have an Outbox message that could not be sent earlier due to the fact that my credit is low. But the message is old now and i cant delete from my outbox. It says its blocked. Its really annoying when i have the lid on a window pops up about my outbox message. Help

Hi, I'm trying to find out if this is a smartphone based on AT&T's requirements? It just says that it needs certain features, but I don't know what they are. I don't want a smartphone because it costs more so I'm trying to find out before I purchase it. Thanks!

have had this phone for more than 2 years, and have never had problems. The camera is brilliant, but the videocamera sucks!!! Overall...its a good phone. Would recomend it to enyone who is on the lookout for a good solid camera phone.

mina, 05 Oct 2008tnx! some say joystick is durble,others nt. i'm confusd. i,... morewhen you find out how to use the keypad as shortcuts you will barely use the joystick. for example if you press 5(message,write new) and press 1 (text message) and 1 (the text pad ) then youre ready to type a message.
these are the numbers/symbols that you need to press and their corresponding most-use functions.
press 4 for mp3 player
5-1-1 text message
5-1-2 mms
5-1-3 voice message
5-1-4 email message
5-2 inbox
5-7 sent items
5-8 save message
3-3 games
3-2 radio
3-4 video player
3-9 record sound
#-2 edit time and date
if you'll observe, these numbers that you need to press depends in the enumeration of the sub menus from top to bottom.
for example:
5-messaging and the sub menu is..
1-write new
2-inbox
3-email
4-RSS reader
5-drafts
6-outbox
7-sent items
8-saved messages
lets say you press 1 for write message the sub-menu is
1-text message
2-picture message or mms
3-voice message
4-email
if you want to send an mms then press 2.
see? you dont even have to use the joystick to send any kind of message.
for gaming instead of using the joystick for up-down-left-right direction use can use:
2-up
8-down
4-left
6-right
5-enter
for browsing:
instead of using the joystick to navigate to the menus and sub-menus you can use this keypad shortcuts
2- internet
2-1 bookmark
2-2 enter web adress
2-3 search in google
2-4 history list
2-5
2-7 down
2-9 up
2-0 zoom
by pressing * (asteris) you can change the page layout or the screen mode into normal screen, fullscreen and landscape mode for better browsing experience.
if you'll learn how to use the shortcuts you will barely need the joystick.

the sony ericsson K800 is the chosen one
it's not expensive and it's too much better than it's mate Nokia N73 the camera software is perfect and the system is great and the sound qwality is too clear the battry is strong the other unavailbele options like WiFi and the GPS is avalible by some accesorise for any sonyericsson cell phone

This is probably one of the best phones you can buy. It has amazingly good camera (video sux but the pictures are stunning) mp3 and everything. I have one for almost a year and everything is working like the day i bought it. No matter that it fell 3-4 times from over 1m height a 65kg man was on it for around 10 sec even the joystick is with no problems.
