i'm using one right now..just dont like the speakers...k750 is louder..but talking about the joystick..it's nearly the same...what's good with k810 is that you could blog your pictures and it has bigger megapixel compared to k750...but i think k750's flash is brighter..

This phone comes with 128MB card included in the package right? If it's been taken out or not included that means it's not "brand-new, never been open"? I was looking on ebay for one of these and this place said they have brand new never been open packages but when they list what's included in the package, they didn't put 128MB card. I'm confused.

Do you people know what is SAR (Specific Absorption Rate is a measurement of how much electromagnetic radiation is absorbed by body tissue whilst using a mobile phone). It's the mobile phone radiation and this phone from LOW,MEDIUM and HARD radion has HARD radiation and it's coefficient is 1.31 W/kg and the maximum alowed by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg, for comparison Nokia N95 has 0,58 W/kg SAR value what means LOW Radiation or compare it with Samsung D900i and his 0,62 W/kg Sar value, i don't whant co compare to Motorola at all because the highest SAR has the model Motorola Razr2 V8 and it's (use microscope to see) 0,34 W/kg SAR Value -LOW- (the HIGHEST SAR coef.). This is another "competitive environment" in which SE K810i REALY "ROCKS" and beats his rivals. I found this three days after i became a happy owner of SE K810i and now i'm realy thinking to change my phone for i still don't know what.
I really hope that SE takes this into consideration into their future phones...I think anything above 1.0 is quite high

I used to have a K800i but it was stolen.I was very satisfied with it although it was kind of irritating to be pressing the internet shortcut key at all the wrong times because of its placement and I was not that confident in the joystick.

If im going to buy a new phone, should I stick with the K800 or should I go for the k810? Was the k810 able to address the said problems? Any significant upgrades over the K800? Thanks.

I am an owner of K810i and I would like to give my opinion for this model, hoping that I will help someone of you out there.

                                    I moved directly from K700i to K810i.
What I can say.. At the beginning (before switching it on) I was not really impressed about the size(vertical length) and appearance. I could feel my K700i much better both, in holding it and pressing the buttons.

As soon as I switched k810i on..............
I was really impressed. The screen size was superb! I had the filling that this was the best size for a simple mobile (not smartphone). The colours, the detail, the brightness all far superior than my previous model(and not only).
On small disadvantage(about the screen) is the ease that it gets dirty (fingerprints). This however can be easily solved by putting a film cover on top (be sure to be made in Japan).

Navigation, is nothing special. It is very similar to every new SE mobile phone, cool and simple so I won't waist any time describing it

                                    3.2mp Camera.
Ok, it is not an actual 3.2mp comparing to a digital camera but still:
                                    1. It takes pretty nice pictures when you are in fields, roads etc.
                                    2. In a building, in rooms etc, I prefer not to use flash (it takes brighter pictures this way,and don't ask me why, I really don't know) and still it is satisfactory for 4x6" photo prints.
                                    3. Low, or no light? This is where I got really impressed... perfect focusing. My camcorder (Panasonic DVD D300, 3.2MP camera), is not able to focus anything in same conditions (make sure that the orange light - used for auto focus - actually hit the person/item that you want to take a pic).

                                    Some more concerning the camera:
In brief lines, I own a Sony P100 5MP camera where I definately prefer it for special occasions over K810i, however it is not this easy to have it 24hrs a day. This was a problem for me as I am a photo maniac, and the K810i solved this problem. As I said, for 4x6 prints is more than satisfactory

About the video.. i do not know, i never used it.

WOOPS, something that I forgot... are the 4 buttons, 1-4-7-* plus the 2 at the 2 top edges of the phone that give you the filling of a real digicam.

                                    Buttons:
2-3 days after I switched it on, and send some msgs the buttons fill much more comfortable and something that will make lot of people hape is that they rock WHILE PLAYING GAMES!!!!!

                                    Design:
Lastly, as I said at the beginning, I was not impressed by the design at the first sight. A few days later however it gave me the filling of an elegant designed phone, loving to put it on the table while lots of people are around it. (I get so many compliments for it and I don't really think that I will ever get read of it this easy)

                                    Conclusion:
                                    1. Certainly an elegant design
                                    2. Nice camera taking nice pics (good substitute of a digicam)
                                    3. Perfect screen colours, brightness and SIZE!!
                                    4. Wear filling of the buttons on 1st touch, but rock for gaming and have v.good filling for messaging after 2-3 days of moderate use.
                                    5. Get a clear film protector to cover the screen since tt gets dirty pretty easy and make sure to be made in Japan
                                    6. Worth the upgrade if you still have K700i, K750i, W810i etc. (2mp phones and less). K800i users, wait a few months and get K850i. The only difference is the cool design

I am sorry about my english and I hope that I gave some help to some readers.

                                    Cheers!!

but K810i Music Player is basically Walkman 1.0 same as the 1 in W800i/W810i all theyv done is edited for the cybershot's

                                        @dani

i've just read about the media player review:

"It is nothing special and "looks" just as your regular Sony Ericsson Walkman player used in the W-series of the Swedish manufacturer"

it says that it just look as walkman player but it is not.
