you have got answer in your question. Anyway you should go and see both handsets because every person has his own experiences. Just by reading here you can't reach to any conclusion. Go and try at shop . Keys are not bad at all. I do lot of texting with K810i.

Terry is comparin N73 with N95. What rubbish. N73 cant compete even to K800i. My friend was so upset because its bluetooth catch viruses easily.

BOB I GOT YOUR ANSWER AND I TRIED IN MY PHONE TOO. First of all Relax . Your phone is Superb and Normal. Do as i say.

Go to Main Menu + Settings + Calls + Divert calls + Voice calls + Divert always + Deactivate

Hope your problem has been solved. In my previous comment i have told you about 3G Sign. Play the demo tour and you will see the same sign. Chill.

                Hello Bob,
First of all congratulations because you have now access to 3G Services that offers endless possibilities including Video calls. Yes u got it right. The 3 blue bands indicate that you are under 3G Network. However if you dont like 3G then go to Main menu + settings + connectivity + mobile network + 3G and GSM. Select GSM Only. Its as simple as that. Red Arrow shows missed calls but i havent seen it bouncing. Guess its 3G related network thing. Hope you havent selected Call divert facility. Check it. In my opinion your phone is normal and mistakenly you have activated some Function.

                      ----------

DEAR ANTONY AND TREPBILL THANKS FOR YOU INTEREST IN SONY PRODUCT. Both Phone that you mentioned are approximately same. It's just the matter of taste. Please take both phones on your palm and decide which is suitable. You are 100% correct. GSMArena has clearly declared this phone ( K800i/ K810i )a Winner among other phones in it's price range. I hope you have read the previous opinions consisting about the advance features of this phone. If not then kindly take a look. It can also play a number of audio and video formats. My advice would be that buy either of them. Both are good. Year end is a time for lots of celebrations around the world and to capture memories; no device can give you the best results only Cyber-shot. Congratulation in advance for your purchase.

                      Dear Bob,

i can see that you have written your problem 3 times. Though it's very hard to understand here without any image so my advice would be to Please go to Sony Ericsson Service Centre. If i assume that you are saying that Signal levels are changing then it must be the problem from Network not in your phone. I hope you have got your answer.

Im having the same problem as alot of people in that i cant decide which to get out SE K810i/SE K800i or Nokia N73 i think the best reveiw that has been given is for K800i but it is a year older than K810i. GSMArean say that they wouldnt bother with SE K810i because nothing has changed and if anything it has got worse so i think it is between K800i and N73 so can someone please help me cheers.

hey guys, just wanna ask a question-which is better in terms of functionality, design and usability? the k800 or the k810? i was a sony ericsson user before and i tried out nokia phones and i'm not satisfied with it, so i'm going back to sony ericsson phone. my choice is beteween k800 and k810. i'm sure we all know the price of k800 dropped when k810 was released and it's a good buy but then k810 is the latest model. so what do you guys think? thanks for helping me out.

Chris and Billy, you both shouldnt buy that phone. Go stick with flop, buggy and unstable N73 or ugly D600 which neither has good media player nor can store more than 12 radio channel. By the way K810i supports MP4 video, Windows audio plus Cyber-shot is the worlds most acclaimed camera phone. Accept the truth. And yes 320*240 resolution is also not a wow thing. The Frame per Second rate is same in both 3GP and MP4 recording. Please dont confuse the people. If you love Nokia then its your personal choice. Dont get confused. K800/10 are still the best imaging phones with Advanced features like Best Xenon flash, Stablizer, One touch photo fix, Glossy slim body,Lens cover, real camera like interface including exact Cybershot zooming , easy shortcut keys for novice userr, award winning Access Netfront Browser, Java JP-7 Technology, Multitasking, compatibility with GPS ad ons, video dj in which you can insert your fav music in background, advanced and separate menu for 3G functions, BEST PIC feature in which 9 shots can be taken at one go, One touch ->internet, RDS radio, media plyer, photo browsing. Also define yous shortcuts in dedicated shortcut keys so u dont have to go to menu, dedicated radio and music and video control keys......

MP4 video Recording takes to much memory up anyway same case with VGA video recording its like 9MB for a 20second recorded clip !!

were as with 3GP video clip can be recorded unlimited memory depending on memory u have in the Phone !! which is better

plus the K810i has *Image, video Stabliser* which makes it clear with no pixeled images

so whos the winner now !

                                        K810i
