Am really sad about this phone. I've had this phone just over a year now and have loved it. Am dissapointed as I am not a big user and in its last month of contract (11 months) the keys started to stick and the phone would just cut out/freeze, eventually nothing worked on the phone. I took it back to O2 and they sent it for repair, it came back but was never the same and didnt feel right in use. After a month I bought a Samsung D900 and have been using that for the last month but I am too used to the SE's that this phone is just not for me, so I went back to my K810 and now note that when dialling I am unable to hear the dial tone nor the person at the other end and dont think they can hear me either, when answered unless I put to speaker phone or use a handsfree headset. I've gone through the whole phone set up and just cannot work out what has gone wrong (if it is me) but suspect it is the phone itself. It is most frustrating and the only reason I am still with this phone is I am waiting for the launch of the new k850i, which aparently will only be available on the higher contracts which I shall have to weigh up if worth it as I am such a low user. Suppose the good thing is that if taking over an 18 month contract then the phone itself is guaranteed for that time also.

i bought this phone some 10 dayz back.. its a good one.. but the thing i hate in this the most is.. its speaker sound is very low.. so even when you handsfree your call, you still have same low voice.. its the ONLY worst thing in this phone. Otherwise, it has every unique feature.. bluetooth, usb, infrared, 3.2mp camera, cybershot, movie, photodj, videodj, musicdj. what else u want? :) But i m bored of it... i know its strange that i m bored of it in just 10 dayz :s i m gonna buy Apple iPhone.. its hillarious..

but to be honest the pointless camera botton is on all newer se phones but some have it in better place but i have it and i like it very much

@aarNy: The speaker volume is overall low..but u can hear the ringtones without a problem. The sound in headphones is PERFECT (loud, clear, bass).

Heyy.. Please could some phone user tell aboud the sound in the headphones (in walkman headphones).. ?! And about the speeker volume (the speeker for which comes ringtones..).. Please..

I have this phone since august. Till now, no problem, what so ever! The joystick and the keys are OK!. Bad point: the external speaker is too low (I had 6233 before and it has 2 very powerfull stereo speakers). But overall, K810i is better than 6233 in this: the display is WAY better, the construction is better, the menu has way more functions and settings, it's more beautifull, the photo quality..I even don't have to say :) 6233 is better in speakers..that's it.

best phone ever nice good sound and its not low as they say has nice quality and classic look but video is a bit poor bec there using qvga not vga try hope they solve it out keep up sony ericsson good work

I'ts really aggod phone.. It's a minimum makeover of the k800 though, except for the appearance, they're practically thesame.. SO if you already have the k800 in habd..stay with it for a while.. The music is good, just do not compare this to the W-series..
The Bad thing.
Tennis game has all "female" players... It's pervertion or you feel gay.. They seem to design it a little "girly"..

I bought this phone 2 days back, very good camera, flash rocks!!! take the pics in a dark room , then also u will get the good quality pics.
mp3 player is vey good, don't compare with walkman seies, its a camera phone.
battery is also very good..
overall good phone with 2gb memory stick in india..

To be honest, i can't fault this phone. I think it looks better than the K850 they're going to replace it with. I don't think there's anything wrong with the joystick or softkey. My only complaint is that stupid internet button. Its so pointless

To Rachel: I find that it's a good phone...a good investment to make. Yes, you'll find that other people may disagree. However, at the end of the day, what'll matter is what you want. If you find that it has the features you want in a phone...chances are you'll find it worthy investment once you use it. Actually, (with due respect to manufacturers) the quality of ALL the phones here will be debatable...because people's experiences with the phone units are based on what they expect from the phones. Manufacturers really cannot please everyone...which is why they come up with a variety of models & features...to cater to the different kinds of people who use them...all expecting very different things out of their phones. Just my two cents worth... Thanks!

I got my K810i Tuesday last week. I'm really happy with the battery standby time. I didnt get 400hours out of it...(unless 400h means something else...)...but so far I've only charged the phone twice (not counting the initial full charge advised by Globe).
It lasted me 66 straight hours the first time, then 72 hours the second time. A bit too early to conclude though, but I'm hoping it won't drastically deteriorate over the next weeks to come.
Hope I helped shed light on the posted question.
My advice...Try it. Compared to the other units in the market these days, it's relatively reasonably priced (considering its numerous features).
