K810 is great "CAMERA/MP3" phone, but have poor mobile phonebook functions, small phonebook(limited to 1,000contacts & 5 number per contact), phonebook labels are fixed & can't be editted (cannot use 2 mobile or home phone at same time, speakerphone is too weak(have to place phone near face when using 3G inorder to hear the otherside). Overall, good phone but needs impovement in phonebook.

hey does this phone is only do voice recording only or is it can record under noisy environment eg rock concert or jammong studio like W850..?

Ok at the first look this phone looks nothing but a funkier version of the k800 BUT NO
THIS PHONE ROCKS!!!
1)Its camera quality is better than that of k800(i have used both). I think this has a better ISO.
2)TrackID is an AMAZING software. Currently this is the only k series phone that has this amazing services.
3)Video call facility is always good with sony ericsson. The cam CAN be used seperately
but it is a very small section in the screen.
4)BATTERY LIFE ROX i have used all kinda phones(details down) this has perhaps the best so far
CONS:
1)Yes i have to admit the video quality is poor this has always been a place where sony ericsson has been beaten and HAS TO come up with better video quality.They cant just say that we have the xenon flash as nokia is gonna beat them as the new roumered n82 has xenon flash :(
Overall THIS PHONE ROX

BTW= Video Calling hasn't official been released in CANADA therefore your video calling would be able to work in certain places. Video calling only works in some parts of GTA.

I interested in this phone and wondering if the round buttons are easy to press or not? since they are different from the typical SE phones... I am currently using the W810 and it is good but would like a larger screen phone...

i love this phone.i bought it 2 days ago and its awesome.good camera,video and long life battery not like n-series whic sucks.

I love it!
I bought a phone 2 weeks ago & it's great.
There's one complain on it: TrackID doesn't work so well, sometimes it shows wrong song...
But it's still the best phone for me. :)

Has anyone got the 3G video call to work in Canada?
I tried it but it failed.
In the connection settings there is no setting which allows you to force the phone to ONLY 3G. It is GSM\3G or GSM. Anyone know how to get the video call working?

I have bought this phone within the last week. I previously owned it's little sister (K800i) and I am pleasantly surprised with the difference. Don't listen to all of these critical reviews that know this phone in comparison as the k810i is lighter, more compact and without a doubt a far better designed phone. Also the camera (Supposedly exactly the same as the k800i's) is far superior in quality due to a slimmer shutter over the lens which in turn increases the light to the lens (Less shutter lag) and in turn giving an obviously better picture! I find that the overall functionality of the phone has been improved and would recommend the Sony Ericsson k810i to anyone looking for step up in the phone chain!
