I have had many K810i's, because I'm a phone dealer, and I have noticed some common defects (on most of these) on this phone:
- Earphone (in the phone) fails quickly - it gets the unclear tone when volume is turned on to about max.
- Camera trigger button fails quickly
- Joystick on this phone requests a gentle approach, otherwise it also fails very quickly
- Charging problems: it's highly recommended to plug the charger jack into the phone first, after that plug the charger into the bushing, otherwise you could get charging failure.
- About software: be gentle with the picture viewer, it may happen that the phone resets when viewing pictures of higher resolution (3 mpix).
That’s about all I can remember right now.
Overall this is a very good phone, but ONLY when using it gently. K810i doesn't tolerate hard usage. All of this goes for K800i also, because K800i and K810i are technically identical.

i have my sony from 1 and a half years now and it is still my favourite....but due to money problems i have to sell it now....very sad for me

my sony ericsson k810n's camera and bluetooth do not work when i click camera in manue i get this massege(anather app is running close it and open the camera ) i did all thngs that i can ,re start , master reast and all . Please help me

Yinks, 17 Aug 2010A very nice phone to use. It has very many features but my... morei experienced the same thing when my k810 fell into a bucket of water. the guy who fixed the phone said that the damage was in the LCD, so i had that replaced and indeed, the phone still works perfectly.

I have had this Phone for about 2 yrs now. it indeed is a great phone. I spceifically had bought it for its camera and flash. Robust design. still works great :)

A very nice phone to use. It has very many features but my K810i has just stopped working. A white screen comes on and off intermittently and can only be stopped by removing the battery. Please what can I do?

I've been using this cell phone for approxamitely two years. It's a true delight relying on it! A professional, reliable, and impressive model.
I was thinking about buying the c905i cybershot, and that was the reason why i logged on this website, to review it. I saw the reviews regarding the k810i, and they simply boosted my willigness to keep possessing it for a longer period of time!

this is a great phone with legacy features like infrared and even has 3G.It can even play real media files which most of SE mobiles dont support. But it lacks in WiFi and doesn't has flashlite

I would b a traitor to this lovely thing if i don't post something about it. I've been using this phone for two years,it became a part of my life and i just can't get rid of it. Never gave me a trouble. Im not praising it forcibly but this handset made me telling the true expression of mine about it. I have taken more than 3000 shots but camera still performs perfectly while flash fires as lightning. As a user im so so impressed with it. Greatful to SE. Sorry if my english is bad....
