The phone will cost around 400 USD! and not 600-700 usd that is wrong!

I have just spoken to Vodafone customer care dept to arrange upgrade to k810i. They have just found out that they will NOT be stocking this phone they say.Instead they will be reducing price of k800i.The adviser said she can only presume that either a) the phone is of inferior quality or b)it is too much like k800i and therefore wont be of benefit having both in stock.
Oh well...dont know what to do now!!!

I'm in Toronto with Rogers. I was planning to get this phone. I dig the cyber-shot phones but for 380 pounds (roughly 850 canadian dollars) i'm not sure it's worth it for me. Is the 3-400 dollar price raise really worth it for the features?
The k810 doesnt have 850 and its UMTS 3G. Not Rogers supported.
So I don't know. If it is that much when it's finally released, I think i'll have to just go with the k790 or 800

i wanted to buy k800 or a similair phone, but after i saw that this beauty is coming within a couple of weeks, i gonna buy it for sure, its more sleek and sexy, with some upgrades over the k800, it realy sound's good.

Wow,, it's cool.. i post my comment!! hahaha,, i think this phone has no special different than SE K800. So, if you already bought k800, don't waste your money for the same damn thing. But if u want to buy k800, just wait til this phone release!!! And tell me what makes you bought this phone!!

to pitt: whoo!..what a price 380 pounds???..too expensive..its just like 700 dollars..price of an n93!! r u sure of dat?? if ur'e sure then i'll better, not to wait for k810i. ill just go for nokia n73ME..:(

after such a long wait, I'm getting my self k810i!!! these are being dispatched to UK first. a mate of mine who is a cell phone retailer and told me he has 20 of k810i delivered by this sat. but already has one as a sample from SE representative
mainly it's a lot faster and more reliable than k800i and the best thing is it's got upgrade xenon flash and a multiple colour led like the one in sharp 903sh also can be used as a torch. the numeric pads are easier to use than one on k800i
he's gonna sell me the sample one which is exactly same as retail version the price will be 380 pounds at initial launch I think it's pretty good price for a start
I will post up some pics next week once I get hold of my precious k810i!!!

beside different keypad with K800, the software too, cause, as i read in many tabloids and magazine in our country Indonesia, SE K800 has a slow running software, so, SE K810 must be better than K800, any sugestion??

well as i predicted sony ( who know about cameras) have gone with 3 mp .....
none of the noise you get with n95 ( stupid nokia trying to blind people with figures which actually offer you very little benefit bigger image size but lower quality of image )
if you want camera phone this HAS to be your weapon of choice.

i like to replace my K750 with this glorious K810, but, in many site, i heard SE has a brand new K850 series, so, does K850 really goes to exist??? or just a joke/rumours??

Had the s/e rep bring one of these into my shop today and it really is brilliant.I don't like the k800i but this i do.I think its gonna be a top selling handset in the uk

Its Intresting But There Should be a big display of atleast 2.6 inch, no doubt the camera has a fantastic clarity as it has 3.2 megapixel & else where its best & plz snd me the price of Sony Ericsson K810 at my email id...........

P.S I have SE K800I and was talking previously about pics of K850i on wesite engadget.I said that i thought it looked a bit old fashioned and clumpy..never mentioned the k800i!! I think the k810i looks great. I like the look of the new keypad also!!

I just wondered if anyone ever reads any previous posts?? For example, Jid, you have asked the same question a few times and got the same answer RELEASED ON 4TH MAY 2007.I look at this site for any new opinions ( not that anyone can make thorough evaluation of it as its not in use even as yet).It is full of people asking the same things over and over again.Have a look at least over the last couple of pages and I bet you find the same answer to the question you want to ask...especially "Does anyone know when this phone is released in UK??" It wont get released any quicker!!
