This phone looks better than the K800! I hope it releases soon though! I wonder if it still has the option to us a video as a ringtone cause I have a few great video ringtones that I us on my K800 and all 6 of them work great without freezing the phone!

      man, just wait for the k900i. according to guru's spec description, its far more better than k800i or k810i. i have a k800 and it works for me. k810i will definitely be released in our country. if you can wait, keep your eyes on the k900i, if not, buy the k810i when it reaches our shores.

              I Think K800 And K810 Is Same. Now I Use K750 As Soon As I Buy It.

                  i dont think this upgrade was really necessary, as the specifications are all similar to the k800....and the second negative thing abuot both fones is that they are too huge.
                  SE...dont make phones that are as big as the usual nokias around. Leave the big ugly phones to Nokia....or let me rephrase....Blockia.

                                If sony ericsson could just spend more on its appearance.. It looks similar to those released years ago.

                                  Is this phone already released here in the philippines? how much is this phone? guys, do you think it will be a good upgrade for my k610i or i'd better wait for for a better version? (SIGH) pls guys, help me decide....also hoping that SE wolud release K801 w/ a QVGA resolution for shooting and playing videos...seems that SE is way behind complared to nokia when it comes to it...also wishing that they would also introduce a new version of w950i w/ a dual camera. I already saw the w950 and I can say its's really a nice phone... almost complete but doesnt have a camera :(...im actually interested to get this w950 , thing is its 3g (umts) but doesnt have a dual camerea (BLAH!!!) Hope SE could release a new version of it coz w950 looks more beautiful compared to P990....PLs SE hear my plead!!!

                                    I am very disappointed in sony. I was hoping and expecting a proper upgrade of the Sony K800i. I wont go for this phone as I already have the k800i. I was told once by a Sony Ericsson Rep that the next upgrade is a 5 megapixel camera. Maybe Sony are just doing what they done with the w800i/w810i.

                                      Differences:
                                      _ The K810 uses UTMS2100 (2 MBit/s), while the K800 uses standard UTMS (384 KBit/s);
                                      _ K810 can retrieve the song title playing on the radio by use of TagID;
                                      _ And the design is slightly different.
                                      NO MORE DIFFERENCES! (UTMS is not use in the USA)

                                        TO M5JJ:

                                        if i were you, buy the K800...if you want buy an expensive one, wait for the k810. but if you're in a tight budget, buy the k800. my k800 can play mp3s & mp4s (i prefer mp4 audio because of the small size - thanks to nero 7 premium conversion) just like the w850. the advantage of the W850 is the bass technology of SE. but the advantage of the k800 is 3.2mp while w850 is 2mp. just buy a big memory card and your fine. i'm using a 1gb m2 card with 435 mp4 audio and 100mb (which is 125 shots at 3mp and fine resolution) remaining.

                                        hope this helps.
