Sir,
I am in the processing of buying k810i, but before that I would like to know the following:-
1. Does this phone have a torch. I am told that it has a programme that can run the orange LED as torch, is it true?
2.Does this phone use standaard 3.5mm headphone jack, so that I can use headphone of other companies.
3.Can I view/play movies and songs from windows media format and real player format?
4. Are the speakers inside the phone sterophonic?
5.As my PC has an internet connection,can I download updates,games and other downloads from my PC to the k810i?
This may please be teated as urgent.

I came from a Nokia 6230,6230i,6233,N73, and even tested N95/N95 8GB
but still K810i and K-Series from Sony Ericsson are the Best.
K810i is the Best...in EVERYTHING!
this phone just wins in everything, Multimedia its Number 1 !
Telephony is Unbeatable.

With Heavy Usage the battery lasts - 2 Days
With Minimal Usage the batttery lasts - 4-5 Days

Im planning on getting the K810i today, I just have a question, is there a problem with the keypad and buttons falling off? Has anyone experienced this????

this phone is worht it to buy. the camera is good and 100% you will good pictures. but the video is not that good. the sounds is great the speakers is loud and its battery life takes long. i have this phone 1 month ago and its so cool i love it. you will not regret it if you buy one. its worth it promise.ü

It can read PDF, and word documents perfectly..
and firmware can be upgraded with SEUS(Sony Ericssson update service)
from SE's website.

I had the same problem as you. When I had it fixed, they replaced the keys membrane. The problem definitely was that the wires connecting the key membrane to its main controller, the repairman showed it to me and now, I'm happy again with the fone. The main cause for this problem was that the front side (the lower portion of the screen) is being stress thus folding the wires and somewhat breaking the connection.

I am going to buy k810 y the end of this week..
just wanted to know is there any software thru which I can read docs, xls and pdf on this handset(even if pdf it will be gr8).
And another thing was how to update the firmwaire.

1. Symbian OS is an OS, K810i is a a Java Platformed phone. not symbian
2. K810i has USB Charging via USB, it cant be switched off, so its best just not to worry

Yeah, it cant get viruses at all even if its in the phone, nothing happens!
and i agree SE UI's is the best.
Thats why i dun go for Symbian and Windows based Handphones....becoz they can get virus easily juz like PCs. Besides, these phones surely make you experience lag and hang. And thats why i like SE UIs ... stable and straight forward. Forget about Nokia ... Samsung is ok but not so user friendly like SE. Smartphones are expensive and not stable becoz they are over smart already ...kekeke...if you want smart phones ... get a mini laptop better~~ kekeke...
