Only Apple can make a Mac becuase its their software, they'v engineered it in such a way its securer then any other platform out there.
Windows is secure it just depends on whats securing it like Anti-Virus and pop up blocker etc etc.
More people nowadays are turning towards Mac for its stability..
Windows XP/Vista is good for business and gaming.

can any one upgrade its firmwire manually and again what is firmwire?
will there be any review like k850i vs n82?

loads and loads of companies make computers which run windows and so microsoft get blamed when windows runs poorly on underpowered computers make by 3rd party companies.
it's the same principle as the iphone too really

If your phone has warranty then take it back to the shop, if it hasnt then upgrade firmware via SEUS

it's a shame when you have to resort to lies.
and windows XP is the most stable OS out there and probably the fastest. all the mac stuff is incredibly overrated and is more "secure" because less people have them!

Then it will be better to go for k850 because it's all in one multi-media phone that will inspire..and i hope with all the firmware updates that has been made k850 so far makes it as a better option to buy.
On the other hand k800 will be also better option which has 3G along with a good camera..
As i had k850 for about 5 months..it was very smooth to use...especially the touch keys..but some use to say bad comment on that...the real thing is that if you use it correctly it will work like a charm...
I am from india..when i purchased the k790 they said in the SE outlet that the production of K790 has stopped officially..if you can get K800 in your area then it will be better option to buy..
If you need the phone with cool stuff and updated features then go for k850..still choice is left to you...have a demo on both k850 & k800 and then go for it...and don't forgot to buy from a direct Sony Ericsson outlet which will be a better option to do....

Manikandan, 28 Dec 2008Hi gka3000, I am recent switched over user of N8... morebuddy thx for the help u have given me and ur time ... i really appriciate it ... but still i have some problems its between LG KF510 / SE K850I / K790 (ur choice) one thing im looking for is the style of it i dont want my phone to be like nokia 5700 (with the rotating keypad stuff - owned one a month ago) and i dont want my phone to be too stylish either ... i just want it to be more decent ... that doesnt mean it gotta be boring looking ... one other thing is i dont wanna go for camera phones without 3g its a waste cuz im planning on using 3g in the future ... sadly k790 and lg kf510 lacks 3g ... i like the photo quality of k790 and i like the cool decent design of the kf510 ... but i like the three touch buttons and the looks of k850 so im now confused should i go for KF510 / K750 or K850I ?

I am recent switched over user of N82 to k790 and before N82 i owned K850 too..
As for as your first question is concerned k850 is not a outdated product.
Secondly N95&N82 produces images with more details(but worrying part is with un-natural colors(Since i have used n82 for almost 4 months)xenon flash of N82 is much powerful one in the market today.
Here i dont want to mention that any product is bad or good..because each has it's drawbacks..
When i had K850..everything is perfect..but lot of purple fingering exhibited during indoor pics my firmware version at that time is (R1CA037)..so many firmware upgrade has been made i dont know that the indoor imaging got fixed in the later releases.
Due to the purple fingering i switched to N82..everything was good in N82 being a smartphone..then once again noticed that it too produced purple fingering and unnatural colors which worried be lot...i am in a position dont know what to do because switched from k850 to N82 for only camera alone...thought of going for G800 or G810 still it has the worst xenon flash...
So made up mind to go for all time great camera phone k790/k800...but a bit hesitation while going from 5 megapixel to 3.2 megapixel..but still finally the quality of pics is what mattered me.....so went to sony ericsson outlet and gave my n82 to get K790i.....
And to say the truth...k790/k800 is really a class phone..top class product from sony ericsson if u r looking for camera..the camera pics was absolute awesome..with true natural colors..evertyhing is perfect in that phone...satisfied with it....
If you are more concerned about the camera...then go for K800 or the other 8 megapixel phones(Innov8,LG renoir,or C905) all the products are really good in camera where the image porcessing and noice reduction is much controlled in the current 8 megapixel generation camera phones....
As for as K790/K800 is concerned it can compete all the 5 megapixel phones as for as my point i would say it can beat any 5 megapixel phones available today....
I have spent lot of amount in mobile for getting a good camerphone..finally got settled with K790 which satisfied me lot...in future may be thought of getting a 8 megapixel phone(c905 or Renoir)..but i always have k790 with me forever!!!

Hi if u can help me (Dani or someone out there) I have a few questions about this phone . First is , is this mobile really outdated as said by some people ? Two is , is this a good choice if i buy it cuz of the camera quality , cuz i really cant get what people are saying some say eventhough its 5mp cam it wont give better pictures like k810 or k800 some say its giving best pics than n95 . Cant figure out whose being true or whose not :-(

I am having issues with my 850i. I've had it for just three weeks. The phone turns off, when I turn it on the keypads all light up and so with the blue ring round the camera but the screen is all black. I don't want to lose this phone because I love it and it is the best I've had so far. Please help...!!

First of all, it is scratch and w... moreHi James, i've had this phone for a little over a year and i've enjoyed it seriously but my touch screen it giving serious grief.i sometimes cant read my sms, go into the menu or use any of the touch screen features.
if there a way around this issue? is there something i can do to resolve the issue?

mehedi, 27 Dec 2008is this phone durable.i am using 5300 for 2 years droped it... moreIt is extremely durable. First of all, it is scratch and water resistant. Mine fell into the sink yesterday and thank god, it is still okay. Mine is already 1 years old and has fallen 9 times plus submerged in water 2 times . It is still working like new.
If you run it on the latest firmware RIFA035, then will become a perfect phone. The sound quality is way louder than the Nokia Xpress Music series and is louder than the N82 since you can manually adjust the setting of the bass and treble. It is by far the best phone I've used and I highly recommend it.
The touch sensitive buttons are extremely sensitive so don't hit it but rather, just touch it and it will respond immediately. All the negative feedbacks on the touch sensitive buttons, screen problems and keypads are just nonsense. It is mainly due to their lack of care for this phone.

It depends on the User-Interface, Thankfully SE have protected there User-Interface from anything currupt..
Its like comparing Windows XP to Mac OSX (SE being the Mac)

well what are touch sensitive keys for i mean how do they work and again is k850i's loud speaker is loud like n82 than i am going for this thanks.it really helped me.

I know since I got a friend who owns a N82 and we always compete in terms of music and camera quality. K850i wins in both aspects. (luckily I know how to apply the rule of the third)
