Furthermore, is the touch screen even hard to use??!! Maybe because you've misplaced your fingers while touching the touch sensitive buttons. One more thing, it is a good piece if you are the type that goes for camera and music entertainment. Mark my word, you will come to love it. I've also undergone this so I know perfectly how you feel. But after some time, I found out that this phone is an excellent piece of contraption and the user interface is also nice plus attractive. After going through a lot of reviews and articles, I dare to deduce that this phone only rival is the Nokia N82. The rest are all pips-quick. Trust me man. You will love it! ^^

nick, 22 Dec 2008no hardware problems (which are not easily fixable)
only... morei am using this piece since last 3months
disadvantages:
1) touch screen is very hard, i tell u very very hard
2) the piece hangs up, in between
3 when new the mirror type body of the phone looks good, but as some 15 days pass by scratches are seen on the mirror body
can any-one tell me , how do they say the k850 is a good piece, i totally disagree and the prices sony.ericcson take for this piece is unbelievable , very highly costly and the service centres of sony ericcson are of no use ,they just open it with thier hands manually and correct it and manually fit the phone with the screws
but the company original packing with machines is gone and after few days u find another problem
so i think only sony ericcson company believs in just earning money not the goodwill of the customers. for them the cusomer money is just waste

what is motion gaming and some people are saying it has a sensetive key and it works like a touch screen so can any one tell me this stuffs clearly and dose it have anything like if you shake it it will turn the music off and my last question is it loud enough to play music in a crowdy room.

is k850's loudspeaker louder than n82 or n95 or anyother phone.
cant any one tell me what is its sound quality?i mean the cc?n82s cc is 90 but what about k850?can any one help me.

Guess what, K850i has a reflecting mirror! The whole greasy back of the phone acts as a self-imaging mirror, neat!

nick, 26 Dec 2008no phones have virus problems, just none. it is so hard to ... moreViruses for dont exist that much, but if something gets currupt in a file or something ..the phone goes mad to (Nokias do)
iv tried that with W850i with a currupt file, it didnt get effected

u might be put off by odd d-pad but you ill be using it within ten minutes no problem

Dani, 26 Dec 2008Its totallly Virus-Free, K850i runs on Java which ISNT pron... moreno phones have virus problems, just none. it is so hard to get a virus on a phone it's stupid even worrying about.
nobody bothers producing them because no special information is stored on phones and not enough people own the same platforms.

I remember the first time I got my phone, the camera toggle key won't respond and there was constant screen backlighting. But after I have changed it, my new phone work perfectly until now. By the way, happy birthday to my friend, Dexter for having his K850i reached 1 years old. =)

I got the same problem.. I've changed the keypad too n guess what, n0w i'm dealing with blacked screen backlighting t0o.. It is very frustrating,u take a good care of the fon,and it went horribly wrong by itself

Come to think of it, i've never seen any of nick's posts in n95 forum or any other nokia forum. An idea is forming in my mind about nick and his posts in our forum. Could he possibly be a secret admirer of k850 but too proud to admit it.....
