Hi, i wanted to ask those ppl who used k850i whether there is any record about the files that we've sent or received via bluetooth?

J j , 20 Oct 2008my k850i jus stoped working during a call. it cant come bck... moreThe solution is actually quite simple. All you need to do is to make a software upgrade. That should do the job. But I am not sure of this as my phone was also once infected by this problem and I brought it to the workshop then they say all you need to do is to perform a software update.^^

Great fone with an even greater screen & cam. Camera images are fantastic with xenon flash. Screen is very clear & themes are deligtful to look at and the touchpads do their job. The Smart Search function is cool though. Saves time opening your Contacts. But i guess that's where the positives halt.
The "Media" function can be buggy, causing the fone to restart at times. The Shortcut key may not work causing you to reboot the fone.
Had the fone for about a month now & battery life is poor at 2 days with minimal use(calls, couple of foto snaps). Battery has a lower mAh than my W850 (930 vs 950). Speaker just isn't loud enough to enjoy music.
Not impressed with the buttons either as they are kinda hard to get used to; and I'm not used to them. Wanted to make a call and noticed the no 7 button wasn't there!! It came off in my pocket and had to glue it back on. Basically, build quality is poor.
I have used SE fones for d last 4 yrs(K700, K750, W850 and K850) & had good experiences opening every box but it seems SE are gettin stale on ideas now.
If SE dont buck up quick, Nokia's going to snatch SE fans away...

this phone breaks easily. i spent lots of money on repairs.

3 days after buying this phone my contact pistures stopped working. It also likes to turn itself off. The touchscreen gets pressed on your face when you make a call. but other than that it is a great phone. great camera, good functions and easy to use.

How do i dismantle the k850i
im sick of sending it to the shops and pay for repairs!
all i need now is a guide on how to dismantle.
u SE lovers out there pls advice

guys, i sold my k850i(10,500 pesos) for a nokia n82 which costs for about P18,400. (US$1 = P47). i miss my k850i for its simplicity and user friendliness. symbian s60 may be good but if you aren't gonna maximize the OS to the fullest, i still recommend you to get K850i.
i have to be honest, the camera of N82 is better than K850i since k850 has some camera driver issues. nevertheless, k850 is better than N95. Xenon flash is big plus and it's a must for a camera phone these days.

How do you download album art into your phone? I've wasted 2 hours searching for the right album art and when I played the music, there's no album art at all! Very frustrated right now. Anyone got any tips to solve this problem?

Very cool, man!! you must have it!
I wonder if SE product can lauch K880,..because rumour about this type specifications more better than K850. Such as :

Furthermore, the new improvements to the phone is outstanding. No more lagging or anything^^ By the way, I am still curious though, sony can support JPEG format pictures right? But what's the max resolution? Why when I enter a picture of resolution 1048*640 into the phone, the phone won't display it? Is there any cure for this?

To make this phone faster. Try to use the lastest firmwares, now it's R1F40035 (I suppose this is the name). With the last firmware it make faster, less bugs. If happens the Blue Ring Of Death, upgrade your firmware with SEUS or DAVINCI... hope I helped you!
