I just got this phone k850 a few days ago and I love it. The camera is fab and the sound from it is fantastic.
Lovely bright screen.
No more nokia for me sony is my fav.

whenever i make my way to getting a N-Series, Nokia always makes a new one arghhhhhhhhhh i dont like what they do
thats the biggest reason why i got K850i
just 1 Phone..with all the Quality's !

sony's camera (the camera belonging to sony
cameras (thats just plural and is not in possession of anything else so does not require an apostraphe!
anyway your k850 isnt fine, the firmware screwed up which is one less thing that my N95 has done and ALL internet camera reviews chuck the k850 like 4th in the 5mpx camera tests (yes including gsmarena!)
the photos are washed out and unfriendly and the video recording ability isnt enough to substitute it for a real camera.

hehe im not crazy se guy i think i'll get g810 instead. it costs 300 euro (k850 260e)

got it on upgrade from mobile network, bottom screen touch screen feature was confusing form regular buttons, touch screen panel kept going faulty, now on my 3rd touch screen panel in the last 6 months and that has now gone again...only plus point to this phone is the camera is really good.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2008im about to buy this phone and i need to know is it posible... morelol dont bother with wifi adapters and that crap, just buy a phone with wifi inclusive. also with a wifi adapter (if thats possible) its not something the OS supports naturally so its going to be confusing and difficult.
buy something nice like an omnia or if you're another crazy SE-guy at least get the w960

MY K850I HAS ... morehmm...ive never owned a phone which has lasted the full 18 months of a contract...except mr nokia N95.
maybe the N95 is more robust than you think. i drop it all the time and its absolutely A-ok. all these problems with the k850...tut tut tut. it doesnt have MUCH to cope with. its just a colour screen with a camera...gosh

I bought this phone for HSDPA feature. HSDPA (internet connection) sucks big time! The area where I live has a very good HSDPA coverage.

Let me tell u my experience with my k850i..i bought this hp 8 months ago..and i have repaired it for 3 times...the first one keypad problem which it's got too sensitive,the second one is lcd problem,same goes for the 3rd one...how much money i have spent on dis stupid phone??dont bother 2 buy dis hp or else u will regret!!

but yeah i was just suggesting an Xpressmusic phone because i 100% genuinely believe they are far better than the walkman range.
what benefit(s) do you achieve from having a walkman over an Xpress? none at all, but turn it around and you get your standard jack, some dedicated sound thingymcbob which sounds nice, say n play which helps keep your eyes on the road while driving.
every review you ever read about walkmans stress the really medicore sound quality.
my final point is...Nokia own symbian OS so why should they dump it? also because nokias are smartphones, its a massive attraction! if nokia didnt run on symbian, what would it run on? OH I HAVE AN IDEA, JAVA!!! no.

after my K850i's got re-flashed ...it works like a dream...heaven
and i still have my W810i which is 2.5 years old still works like new!
SE's are tough and reliable. and quality ..

if we own SE's why would we get Nokia's ??
i changed from a 6233 to a SE W850i
and now even 2.5 years i still dont regret ...

The downside of symbian phone (nokia) is the auto restart processor. every 1 week or if you don't have luck every 3days it restart all by himself. When you receive a call sometimes it hang, turn it off (auto restart) or you cannot hear the caller. Nokia should dump symbian OS.
