I owned the samsung d900 and something about the screen on that phone made the pictures look fantastic and it was a 3 meg camera! Also look at the xperia that is supposed to come out if ever, the screen resolution is supposed to be really good!

You are looking at it on your pho... morereally? there i was thinking my N95 had a 5megapixel resolution screen...
i look at all my photos on my laptop screen (1440x900) and they look great in lighted conditions...not so great in low light but thats cos there is no xenon. i bet the k850 looks even more washed out when it is blown up to full size.
i think we should all buy the new innov8 because gsmarena are raving about it. can the images be really that good? the samples are really really impressive

I have a serious issue with k850 phone! I recently did a firmware update and after about 3 days my screen started to flicker but a day after that everytime I pressed the answer or end key the screen would totally black out!!!! Checking it under a bright light I realized the screen still functions but it's like the contrast or brightness of the screen has been adjusted low where the user cannot view a thing on the screen! It has been a week now and I cannot use my phone! Sony Ericsson!!!! Please send a new update to correct this issue!!! This exact same issue that I have happened to my cousin around the same time so I know that it's not only my phone but the defective firmware update that was installed from Sony Ericsson! Does anyone have this same problem??

I have a serious issue with my K850 recently! I did a firmware update about 3 days ago and after a day or so my k850 screen started to flicker. Everytime I press the call end or the answer button the screen goes dark! The next day after charging the phone the screen completely stopped working!!!! Checking the screen under a bright light I realized that the screen is still working but it went dark as if the contrast was adjusted really low. Now I can't use my k850. Sony Ericsson Company!!! Please send a new firmware update very soon to correct this issue fo the K850!!!! This problem also occured with my cousin who also did a firmware update around the same time I did! So I know that I'm not the only person with this issue!

You are looking at it on your phone, and not on a PC. You will not see how good your pics realy are untill you print them out, or put them on a PC. The screen on your phone is not made to show 5 MP pic's well.

after 5 months w/ me.. my k850i's touchpad suddenly keeps putting itself in select making itself not usable in any way. i immedietely brought it to the service center and had to wait for a month to have it fixed. one day while waiting for one of their represenatatives to do a follow up, two or three people having the same problems came. scary fone is all i can say now. i hope from SE will come someday.

Well texting isn't so bad on this phone but it hurts after a while since the buttons are so hard and they are very small and spaced out... The camera doesn't live up to the 5 mega pixel. The camera is ok, but still isn't very clear once u look at it carefully. Between the n95 and the k850i battle over all i would say the k850i is more fun... but the camera on the n95 is a whole lot better.

new LG looks nice. i think out of all the new 8MP phones, the c905 seems to have the least features...
why am i not surprised??

Have you tried to talk to some one at Sony Ericssion about this? The number should be in your books that came with the phone. Explain to them in detail what is happening, I'm sure they could help you with it. I have not had a Sony phone that has done this. Sorry that I could not be help to you.
