@dani and direwolf_65 do you modded your SE phones? Like changing camera driver etc.

SE sell good when people actually try them..
when i got my first SE the W850i, i was completetly astonished by it!
i changed from a Nokia 6233 to the W850i
and i never look back on Moving to SE, i dont regret it
Most Nokia phones are all the same i mean the UI's are the same going from a 6300 to a N95 is the same thing....just with more features added and colour and design is similar
Nokia Phones are also 'common' which makes them dull
SE Phones are Unique yet have Style and are Quality all round in everything...
im the only one in my family with SE Phones, i feel Unique and special becuase of that
my uncles envy my K850i, and they own N95 8GB's !
SE Rule man just admit it

Se have had lots of lay offs!it's not in the number of workers. and it depends on the market. but here in southeast asia, Sony Ericsson is doing well in the business. Nokia's doing good too BUT most of us think of nokia as the "common" phone with SAME features.
nokia is not a classy type of phone. they look cheap.

SE Phones are built SOLID and TOUGH!

The store ran out out of W810's, I wanted the phone badly, so I took there display model. I have dropped down concrete steps and a few times in other places. I listen to music at work and have taken hundreds of pics of my family with it. It has not given me any problems. That is why I am here, to look for a a good replacement for it.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I will narrow it down for you to 2. Choose between the N82 or K850i. Then ask yourself what do you want your phone to do for you.
If you want picture quality, a semi good smart phone with wifi then go for N82.
If you want an all around better phone with good pic qualtiy then go for K850i. My previous post lists the qualitites the K850i or SE holds over the N82.

After owning both the K850i and N82. The K850i as an all around phone is better.
The N82 does have a better camera wifi, more colors, vga screen. But the phone ablity falls short.
I would'nt say it sucks, but the K850i or SE does so much better. The sound and speaker quality, T9 dictionary as well as texting options, user interface, camera options (not pic quality, but the way it works like a camera), and it is built way more solid. One thing I don't like about SE is the charging port. I sometime have trouble with the charging of my K850i. I have to plug it in a couple of times before it register that it is charging.
Anyway, I feel that SE does everything better. They do fall short on certain things and I hope they do progress in certain areas in the near future.
But SE is still my favorite even though I have the best camera phone in the N82. I still have the best cell phone in the K850i.

@dani and direwolf_65 do you know what is the life span of SE phones? Because my sony playstation1 (big) 8 years old. Playstation 2 (big) 5 years old. All of them working fine. How about SE phones?

ooooooh i love this phone its so cool the camera is great and the look of the phone is elegant i just think this is the best sony ericsson phone that was ever launched good ridence.I LOVE THE SONY ERICSSON K850 YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@nick- what happened to your NOKIA now? oh well, it's gonna be a tough again year for this brand.. as always and as expected, NOKIA didn't receive any. they're so reliable on symbian that they forget how to innovate. poor NOKIA.

Direwolf_65, 18 Aug 2008No, and I have had mine for 2 years.I think you follow the instruction manual that makes your connector port last for years.
