no, im the smart guy here who bought the nokia because i do not just jump on the bandwagon being that a flashy word 'cybershot' means better.
a camera is all about its lens and optics, and all the hardware involved with the camera on the k850 is vastly inferior to the hardware on the n95.
okay the k850 has a xenon flash, so yes the phone is better at night (obviously), im not gna lie and say the LED on my n95 is anywhere near as good, but during the day (when a camera really counts) is when the n95 shines.
if you took a photo of somewhere during the day with an n95 and then with the k850, the photo on the n95 will be FAR better.
stop talking about this natural colour rendering, this is total garbage, its just one of those laughable excuses made by SE fans. if you take a photo with a standard camera, the photos are always coloured up to impress the user! no digital camera produces washed out photos like the k850 so this is total rubbish!(also who wants natural?!)
my next point is the video. the k850 is marketed as a cameraphone, yet sony ericcson have never personally made a cameraphone with VGA video recording (standard on all real digital cameras). my nokia n95 does have this, in fact even older nokias have this when they are not even supposed to be camera phones. they are trying to save moeny here! the video is part of the overall experience.
in brief:
the n95 produces better photos in the day quite substantially.
the n95 video is better
the n95 doesn't blur unlike the k850 which is terrible at blurring! i find 50% of the shots i take on a k850 are blurred!
the n95 has a manual lens cover so putting fingerprints over the lens is hard. wheres the point in an automatic lens cover when theres a bit of plastic infront of it which easily gets covered in fingerprints!
thats my argument, try your hardest to argue against it.

it's unique! it's catchy! it's totally elegant!
XENON FLASH WORKS GREAT!
with its NATURAL COLOR RENDERING you would surely APPRECIATE the pics once you put it on your PC!
jump around with Cybershot! you can capture a moving propeller without it getting blurred!
how COOL is that!?
unlike the N95 which is very COMMON these days, who would really want it?
who cares about symbian? it's not a smartphone! just one of those symbians.. elk!
and the pics? how deceiving! NOKIA IS JUST EXAGGERATING THE COLORS just to FOOL the customers to make it more lively than the NATURAL COLOR.

X1! why are you SE lovers putting this phone again and again for comparing Nokia phones? Do you really know that X1 is wholly made by HTC corporation Taiwan. Or you know this but want to ignore this fact!

and they are UNNATURALLY DULL.
all digital cameras brighten up photos, that's what makes them so good.
even sony erricson followers admit the k850 has been a huge flop.

K850i's Camera just KILLS N-Series....
The Pictures that K850i Produces are just totally NATURAL and Clean and 100% High Defanition
and the Video QVGA, Dayum its Clear and Crisp and Perfect..

Your review shows that you are still not admitting that nokia is not creative but the fact of the matter is not that...what the creative handset created by nokia can you list me out...
You are saying about walkman the world knows walkman series is the best in than any other music phones if you are not admitting this you are the fool not me!!!
No answer from you regarding the camera features...once again i am asking you what big difference that nokia showed in their handsets same software with same interface..see the SE we got Face detection,bestpic,photofix,smart contrast..
It's not the matter how many type of devices that nokia creates it's all the matter of how creative products are created and SE is doing that....
Soon SE is going to release new creative devices similar to Xperia..so nokia
has to look out how SE is performing!!!

As we are comparing them, but in real world thousands of people are buying them, look while saying Nokia is boring, look at the 7 different types of Mobile types ,starting from Business series -ending to Arte classic series. So in no way you can say Nokia is just no more creative. Under SE brand they have Cybershot, walk men series and may be few models of touch screen. Three types only. User interface of Nokia is typical from long time! lol. Everyone know here SE is how hopeless in not improving their user interface from his first mobile. Same 3*3 or 4*4 grid of icons! Nokia always have Symbian in their backup. No doubt they use symbian but the profit is for us ! we get variety! You said Nokia is hiding behind Carl Zeiss lens! Because it is the best lens manufacturer in the world. Sony SLR Alpha camera uses the same lens by the way. And Nokia uses Carl Zeiss lens which one of the best. And profit is for whom ? Afcourse for us! we get the best quality because of Carl Zeiss. SE dont know how to make VGA recording yet in handset. So called two models may come. But currently are they available ? No. Nokia has different type of class, can't be compared. Comparing Nokia and SE in GSM world is foolish thing I ever seen. And you are showing how fool you are ! As we all know Nokia has 40% stake in the GSM world. In 60% all other brands are playing. So in no way you can compare other brands with Nokia. Sorry.

well when i look around sony ericcson forums purely as a spectator, every sony ericcson fan is just saying how great the k750 was and how good the k800 was but how much of a disappointment the k850 is.

Skeptical at first, but it won me over.
What made you think I was disappointed anyway?
Concerning the C905 video, I still have high hopes that it has VGA. But it doesn't concern me anyway.
I'll look for some more previews to see if it is.

yeah it does look to be very good
i still think qvga is silly on a phone capable of producing HD snaps.
high definition photos with videos that are totally unusable.
pelase sniper just give in and admit the k850 is a disappointment

5.91mm focal length! thats good! some of the photos on the itnernet from it look superb.
shame about the qvga video, then again it probably doesnt have the proccessor in it to achieve any better
im glad nokia will have some real competition now instead of this useless k850
