5.18mm is the smallest lens you can basically get for a 5mp camera

I think itis the best camphone available in the market. Before the launch of sony ericsson K850 the nokia N95 is the only phone which were preferred by the people. But 850 is amazing and its small size is pretty good and its sound clarity is also wonderfull.

yes the video on the n95 is the same as the viewty, but the viewty does record in AVI which is better than mp4.
and yes i do bring up video alot because its part of the whole camera package. a camera should deliver in every aspect, not just the interface. yes the k850 has a nice camera interface, better than the nokia one, but great...

The point always you make here in recent days is on comparing video of k850 with N95...common the best phone with absolute video capability is LG viewity not N95.....
Just have a argument about camera...it's not an handycam to take videos.....
I hope you know that N95 always produces over saturated images for no use..when compared to k850!!!

haha, your excited about opera mini.
i can watch youtube videos on my browser, no 3rd party apps needed :)
and and and...
nokia just released a mid-range handset with a 2mpx camera which does vga at 30fps!!
and sony erricsons 5mpx camera cant do that?!?!

i bought this phone two weeks ago ..
now i am having a lot of problems..
3 is not working anymore..
it use to stop working alone..
everyday i most make master reset for it otherwise i cnnot call anybody...

The reason why K850 stands top among the camera phone is...
1)It has Excellent camera features with splendid result.
2)Tremendous battery life for such high end phone.
3)Dedicated cybershot features such as BestPic and PhotoFix will be quite handy.
4)Dedicated hardware keys for the camera.
5)Superb multi-media features with TrackID and MegaBass.
6)Excellent walkman 3.0 media player.
7)Powerful Xenon flash makes pics at dark splendid.
8)UI-Auto rotate always nice option to work with.
9)X-Pic story for viewing albums.
10)Lightning speed even with gigs of data no hang ups.....
Really an Worth phone to have!!!

i read most of the comments , i observe that NICK is the leader of this space , am with u especially in the case of n95 i have bought it twice ,i had founded two problems one in mp3, the second camera .i hate ittttt

i keen on sonyericsson phones ,k850 is one of the succesfull phones in my country ,especially it 5 meg , but there two things spoil k850 ,the absent of wifi and it keys . we need phones like this phone because most of the new sonyericsson phones are dispionted cant compare with nokia new phones . i mean a phone vs n96

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970If nick wasn't here saying negative things about SE all the time and bragging about his N95 what would everyone do?
Everyone would be sitting around posting things like:
"I love my K850!"
"I love SE"
"This is da best fone!"
And that is really boring. We should embrace everyone who wants to flame-bait with open arms! They make this place interesting!
P.S I got bashed repeatedly on the 8800 Arte section for my comments and now i is sad =(
But anyways....
They should make this phone have lights on the side like the w580, that and the shakey feature is the only reason I like SE
