@sniper supra, don't be jealous. I have green and it's the greatest color. I was born in the month of may and my birthstone is green and the greatest football team on earth, the philadelphia eagles are green. I love my green phone. Besides its a K850i, the phone is awesome. Green blows away blue. lol

hi guys.. I know this is not a music phone, but it has has a good music player just like the walkman series.. So my question is.. how's the performance of the loudspeaker? in terms of loudness & clarity is it comparable to the level og music phones? and does it have a 3.5mm adaptor for headset? your answers is greatly appreciated.. tnx..

                great camera that K850i have:

                -xenon flash
                -3led light
                -red eye reduction
-motion sensor for for picture positioning
                -image and video stabilization
                -photo fix
                -best pic
                -automatic lens cover
                -great camera interface

i think by far the best k850i competitor is the LG Viewty

I have just upgraded my k800 to this handset and first impressions are good.

It is the first time i have used touchscreen on one of my phones, and reliability still worries me a bit. I hope the worries are unfounded. Functionality is good though.

The camera is simply amazing quality.

Mine came with 512 mb mem card, so will be stocking it up with tunes.

IT COMES WITH 'TETRIS' ALREADY ON IT!!!

Also got a cool game called 'Marbles' which needs to be played to be understood.

I am very happy with it so far, but it's only been a day and i didn't actually know about the touchscreen feature. As long as it holds out and doesn't let me down i can't see myself having any issues with this handset.

And i love it's electric blue colourings.

nick, 03 Jun 2008actually before i bought the n95, i had never owned a nokia... moreWell saying good things about N95 isn't bad.
                          There's nothing wrong with it.

                          But terrorizing others is different.
That last post of yours is an improvement.

To be totally honest, I was broke between K850, N95 and Viewty. Samsung was not in my choices coz I think samsung phones are too serious and classy - not my style.

I dropped Viewty because I need some bits of keypad. And I need some lens cover.

I was considering N95 because wi-fi and gps are new in a phone.

                          But I hate symbian,

and the themes are too simple (you cannot change highlight designs, like that big box in the menu that scrolls from one icon to another)

N95 classic is silver, which I don't like

Neo N95 is black, but has no expandable memory - I want something that could be transferred from one phone to another.

N95 has no strong flash, which I wanted to have when I still have my k750.

                          I hate sliders.

N82 could use some of my thinking but i really really don't like the design. PLus, the only bright improvement of the N82 over the N95 is the xenon, so it doesn't seem to be an evolution really, compared to the evolution of k750 to k800 to k850.

If somebody is saying that the K850 does nothing or gets boring after sometime, well...

All phones have the tendency to get boring from time to time, if not then all people would stick to one model and there will be no more models to come.

Humans aren't meant to be contended anyway.

actually before i bought the n95, i had never owned a nokia before. i simply bought it because it clearly excels in everything.

i thought having a smartphone would be nice
i saw the lens was bigger on it and the video was quliaty, and i thought the 3.5mm jack would be great cos my old lg needed an adapter and it used to piss me off cos i wud always forget it!

                              okay sniper!

                                i wouldnt agree with you.

K850i has the Best 5MP and Video it best and for a QVGA

and i repeat K850i is STABLE 100% Stable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually dani, most digital cameras record in VGA at 30fps.

and dani where do you get all this rubbish about the n95 being unstable. the wifi is brilliant.

anyway the n95 is the most stable smartphone ive ever used. my phone never, i repeat never ever freezes up or crashes.

                                  ever.

its more stable than the current k850 which seems to be a totally unstable disaster!

                                    The winner...
And so, to the winner - and it has to be the K850i, but only just. The quality, detail and naturalness of its images just shade it over the N95's.

Surprisingly, though, if you're looking to print the photos you've taken, the prints taken from the N95 end up looking marginally better than those from the K850i. However, it's generally a matter of taste, and anyone looking for a top-end camera phone really won't be disappointed by either phone.

Of course, you want to see for yourself in as much detail as possible, so check out Mobile-Review's super-huge review of both camera phones to see them get a thorough going over, and for more sample photos from both the N95 and K850i than you can shake a stick at.

Before you do, though, here's a taster of their conclusion:

"If you value truly photographic quality of snaps – look no further, [the Sony Ericsson K850i] has no alternatives. In all conscience I have to admit that the Nokia N95 over the past 6 months has become the most popular 5 Mpix equipped device, but the Sony Ericsson K850i is not only on its heels, it also surpasses it in the imaging department (that’s our only focus now).

You can claim, screaming and kicking, that cameras in mobile phone were, are and will be nonsense. But what I really recommend these people to do is take their 10-15 year old photo albums and compare quality of images there with some samples given in this article. The revolution is already here – the Nokia N95, the Sony Ericsson K850i and some models still to come have brought it..."

So there you have it - the two best camera phones on the market today. If you want the best camera phone of them all, choose the Sony Ericsson K850i. If you want the slightly-second best camera phone, but also Sat-Nav, Wi-Fi and a whole host of other features (including push-button uploading of your images directly to Flickr), get the Nokia N95.

A tricky decision to make, but a nice dilemma to have!

K850i still produces BETTER much better pictures then rest of the 5MP's

                                        Nokia's are feature packed!
                                        Fair Enough WOW!

Nokia stuffs so many features into their phones that they just cant cope with the pressure.

loads of problems as a result, and is the case with most N-Series in the Long Run..

                                        1. Battery Life
                                        2. Unstable software
                                        3. when loads of memory is taken N-Series SLOW DOWN!
                                        4. Software slows down
                                        5. Designs are like Bricks

N-Series are just like 'Jack of All Trades-Master of None'

they have it all but fail to deliver in every aspect.

you couldnt replace your camera with a N-Series camera phone....

you couldnt replace a TOMTOM with a N95 GPS

you couldnt replace your MP3 Player with a N-Series phone the battery aint strong enough and the software is Limp

you couldnt replace your Wi-Fi with N-Series its not stable enough.

you couldnt replace your video recorder with a N95.. the quality isnt at Par with Standalone Digital Video recorders

all the stuff that nick says is a load of nonsense none of it is True, he talks about his N95 like it really can replace all those thingsa when really it CANT!

Phones have got along way to go(even N-Series) to do all that stuff..........and replace standalone products.

Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot phones have the Staminah to replace Standalone Digital Cameras

Walkman Phones can easily replace iPods and other standalone Mp3 players.

SE phones really are that Good/Great/Brilliant.

its all in the Real World, not this website.
