this phone is pant!!ive had 4 now and everyone keeps breaking!if its not the camera its the SENSITIVE touch screen display!and now, like two of my mates, the screen is black, wont turn on, and is going back, thinking about exchanging for the samsung g800, dispite the brick factor!STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE GUYS!

i was talking on the phone (k850) then its shut off and the keypad kept lighting and its the phone is not starting again
i tried to update the software and tell me to unplug and retry again
any help since my mobile is dead now!!
i will go back to Nokia its much better

I'm so jealous of the green... Mine's electric blue...the blue one with silver on the side of it is easily being seen if it is scratched when we compared to the green one with fully black colour,do any of u know where to find the best price for the housing of the k850i?

Fanboys - always amusing to watch them argue.
If you treat a phone badly then you're going to have problems with it. Look for the features YOU need (not what it can do... what's the point if you're never going to use it) and make a choice that you are happy with.
Ignore those people simply trying to justify themselves!

So my girl broke here razor last night. Luckily her line was due for an upgrade with AT&T. So we went to best buy and got the green SE W580 for free with 2year contract. The phone is awesome. Only 2 mega pix but great pics. Sony Ericsson makes awesome phones. With my K850i and her W580 we are completly satisfied. Sony Ericcson ROCKS!!! Thanx, eddie

How can any one say the Iphone is featureless. I agree it needs some major updates like a higher mega pix camera with a flash, A2DP, picture messaging to name a few. But the phone is far from featureless. It's very fun to use and not boring like nokias in my opinion. Come on it's revolutionary. Thanx, eddie

@Arien, If you are the type of person who is rough on phones, then yes you will probably get scratches. It does attract finger prints. Like Dani says if you use the phone correctly and dont beat it up it will be fine. When I buy a phone I baby it because I pay alot of money and I want to take care of my investment. I keep my phone in a small camera case in my pocket with a oakley bag. I never set it down on a hard surface unless i have something soft to put it on. So if you do all these things your phone will last forever and look as good as the day you bought it. The phone works great It's my favorite to date. Thanx, eddie

6233 did come out 2.5 years ago, and i would called it a 'Lame' Phone, to business like and boring...as for the features VGA Video i 100% Agree was the Best thing about it, i still use it for Videoing sometimes..
iPhone only has a faster processor, no big deal there either....

you cant say the iphone is featureless.
an iphone has a really fast proccesor, like 620mhz!
most SE phones are just as powerful as nintendo ds's! haha
and the 6233 you talk about has better video quality than this k850 haha. the 6233 has a 2mpx camera and came out like 2.5 years ago and it stilll beats the k850 on features.

in my experience(part 2) these are the problems iv faced
iv had more Software Problems with Nokia's and the problems werent even with Symbian's they were from Series 40 Phones like 6230i/6280/6233 and then 6300
iv owned them all
6230i kept restarting every like 3 hours, and the battey life was terrible
6280 was just CRAP! battery life was 1 Hour not even that.
6233 had Memory card issues. kept formatting it!
6300 just slows down all the time.
and thats it now, i gave Nokia 1 last chance with 6300 and the BLEW IT! ..
i dont think il ever go back to Nokia ever again.
i also owned a Nokia N-Gage when i was like 11 years old, in the end it ended up in the Bin, becuase the software Died on it...yes you heard it Died..
my 2.5 Year old W850i hasnt had any problems at all in 2.5 years = 0 Problems...
Thats just My Experience, nick you might not agree but thats what iv faced with Nokia's constant problems
thats why i will NEVER get a Nokia ever again......
i dont like Samsung Phones either, the Menu is not my Type and there to Girly
LG phones are just Gay, i like the Viewty but still to Gayish and Girly..
iPhone nahhhhh to plain and featureless
wouldnt get N-Series becuase i dont like Symbian
SE is Perfect for me;)

actually thats not true dani.
my old motorolas have just randomly died from software issues and been in immaculate condition simulatiously.
but as pepsi says
"if you're going to b*tch about any company, it might as well be motorola because they dont do anything worth while"

In my experience, and this is with Any Phone...
if you use it carefully it will Forever.
if its Abused and thrown about, it will slowly Die...
K850i isnt Timed to break, if you use the touch buttons properly they will last forever, same applies with the Lense Cover
its all down the User, not the company who makes the phone

the touch buttons ALWAYS BREAK.
i can guarantee you will have to send it back.
and the lens cover just gets covered in scratches and fingerprints, therefore defeating the purpose of covering the lens.
