Today I printed my k850 vacation photos...and the printed photo album was absolutely amazing with true natural colors......
K850 really rocks!!!

I am on handset number 4 with the K850i. Which saddens me slightly, being a Sony ericsson fan!!!
Found the touch pad to be hard work at first, but i think u get used to where to apply pressure on ure particular fone! Then it started freezing, so it got replaced, The next one switched off and wouldnt turn back on then the 3rd one was crashing all the time. They were all the K850i(blue). The fourth fone is the K850i (silver) and it seems to be working wonderfully, for the moment. I'm a huge fan of the features it has, pics are great, speaker quality is great etc etc.. all the stuff you would expect from a Sony product. Many friends have it and have had no problems (just getting used to the touchpad)!!!
So far so good!!

well i came from a W850i to K850i...
at first i was confused how to use K850i and did find it weird but Unique
now i cant use my W850i ! lol

nick, 06 Jun 2008i think its awkward having to reach your thumb up to the sc... moreIts harder to reach for the middle button with a slider because of the unelevated surfacing between the keypad and the softkeys (the reason why I didn't take the S series SE phones)
With the K850, pressing the softkeys is like touching the screen -that is why people thought that it has touch screen function.

you could buy one separately which comes along with handsets.

nick, 04 Jun 2008the touch buttons ALWAYS BREAK. i can guarantee you will... morewell iv had mine about 4 month had 2 repairs on it for the touch pad and the phone crashing i wouldnt have another SEk850 if they paid me crap

i think its awkward having to reach your thumb up to the screen and press the ok/continue button in the middle

I feel that my touch screen has gotten better. When I first got it, it was difficult to get use to. But now, It works great, I sometimes forget it's a touch screen. It works as well as designated buttons. Thanx, eddie

@lamperouge, No it does not light up, but I have the green strip and it looks awesome. It's such a bright green it looks lit up, the blue will be the same as well. Buy this phone, you will love it. Thanx, eddie

This phone is great. I'm only looking for a cool and stylish phone with a quad band capability, anything else is just extra for me. However, this phone gives me more than I require.
Not only is it quad band (GSM), it also supports UMTS (which I believe WCDMA compatible - Correct me if I'm wrong).
The 5 megapixel camera is definitely good, I've taken pictures using K850 during my trip recently and am actually amazed with its quality. I didn't expect much out of it in the first place.
Can store mp3s and listen to them with K850, but I have iPod, so I don't use it for music.
So far (3 months) I have no problem with this phone. I'm no SE fanboy (had used Motorola, Nokia, and Samsung before), but I think SE is the best. I had P900 before, and also liked it very much.

as i said earlier,
Use the Touch Buttons carefully, they will last forever
Update the Firmware, then it will be STABLE and Improved
Phones dont just break themselves, thats just absord
Its all down to the User, Not the Company who makes them!

had my k850 since october, on to my 3rd one already, turns itself off & touch screen keeps goin on it.

I just bought this phone last weekend and I haven't seen any negativity at all :D I'm having fun using it, :D I love it :) with the 5.0 megapixel camera with flash, expandable memory, music player, widescreen, 3 touch options, what else can you ask for?
