    Superb facilities but heavily flawed implementations.
    1. Comes with a curse..Blue ring of death!
    2. Not user friendly D-Pad ring.
    3. Harder clickity plasticky buttons and D-pad ring. Keypad seen depressed on middle right side when buttons are pressed.
    4. Camera flash easily and accidently covered by fingers resulting in dark pictures in low light.
    5. File manager hidden in sub menu
    6. Video lipsync problems despite firmware upgrade.
    7. No wifi for the price.
    8. Not very usable for games.
    9. Slow CPU resulting in lag.
    10. Media Player look plain and laggy.

    2 stars upon 5. SE buggered this model.
    5.

          Oh yeah. I just wanted to add, the phone I'm using right now has a 2.7 inch screen with WVGA resolution (480x864). ^_____^

          No, I'm not bragging. =P

            @lonestar

            Haha, yeah I figured you were more on the SE side. I'm just making sure that people don't be fooled and buy a Samsung because of their high megapixel count, and instead go for the better k850i or N82, or the best, being the SE Japan lineup.

            Bigger image in no way beats better image quality.

                @lonestar. The b600 is also a cdma phone and not a gsm phone!

                  @lonestar

                  Actually I've only heard of 10mp as the highest, with solid proof, bypassing any random rumours spread around the net. It's the most I have heard of anyway. However, personally, I don't care about the size of the image, as long as it's about the size of an average computer screen. What affects a picture the most is the quality. I have not used the Korean 10mp cameraphones before, but I can say pretty confidently that the quality will be less or equal of that in a 5MP phone.

                  A 10mp phone needs a relatively large sensor. If you have seen pictures of the Samsung 10mp phone, there is no way that a 10mp imaging module can fit into it along with a good sensor for such a large resolution. Also remember that it's a standard phone, and within such a refined space has to fit in hardware for the phone (e.g. bluetooth, antenna, and of course the actual phone) too.

                  The screen on the phone looks pretty small too, which makes me believe that pictures won't only not look good on a big screen, but on the phone display as well.

                  And, as a side note.. I honestly think that the Samsung 10mp phone is rather ugly, first of all looking more like a camera than a phone, and secondly how the lens actually comes out of the phone. Sure, it makes it more like a real camera, but personally, I think a phone's design should stay in the phone section, and not like a camera.

                  Sony Ericsson Japan are more focused on reaching a set point, then refining the quality of the handset until just short of perfection. Sadly, these are made for optimal use in Japan, and to the rest of the world they are not as useful or feature packed.

                  Samsung seems to me like they are trying to jump ahead of the pack, yet giving compromises and lack perfection in a few, important areas. Oh and this only goes for their flagship models; I will have to agree that most of their other models are decent or above average.

                  I think that the megapixel race should stop, and manufacturers should focus on image quality instead (and of course, loading a phone with a CCD sensor).

                  By the way, I used to use a Nokia N82 due to it's imaging qualities, but after stumbling across the SO905iCS, I fell in love with SE. Or maybe only SE Japan. ^__^

                  If I said something wrong about the Samsung, don't flame, I admit to be using logical guesses, as the same factors apply to other phones.

                        what is the maximum resolution on a camera phone that you've seen? I've heard that some of the Korean models have reached 12MP. Is that true?

                        Whatup guys?

                          @Manikandan

                          Not really. You should look at the SE Japan site.

                          As for Cybershot phones, SO905iCS by DoCoMo and W61S by au wipes the floor completely compared with any phone outside the Japanese market.

                          K850i is good, but not good enough, yet in due time, it will be much sexier, given phones like the S700 adapt from the SE Japanese style and features... which then it will definitely be a killer.

                                    Key features include:

                                    [edit] Camera

                                    5 megapixel camera, 16x digital zoom, natural color rendering, and built in xenon flash plus three additional LED flashes for video recording an AF illuminator. In camera mode the keypad is differently lit so the user can easily find the camera shortcut buttons (view mode, thumbnail view, selftimer, flash).

                                    In common with the K810, a program called Photo Fix and Face Warp is bundled with the K850. Users can easily increase the brightness and the contrast of the photo.

                                    Video recording is QVGA (320×240) @ 30 frames per second. (K800 QCIF (176x144) @ 15 fps.) Supports Image and Video Stabilizer so videos and photos taken would be less likely to appear blurred and shaky.
