Ahaaaa NTT DoCoMo and KDDI au phones are definitely the best.
I hope that rumours about the K850i successor following the style and design of SE Japan phones are true and will happen.

one more interesting info for allan and Nick
Nokia use to do business in oil and foods, only from beginning of 1990 it jumped into cell phone market, where as ericsson is in wireless field for more than 100 years and Sony electronics doesn't need any introduction, what Nokia is doing is selling all crap big chunks and making money on low end models, its main business is out of low tier phones, i am not saying nokia is bad and i am not here to bash any brand, but SEMC is very good brand and not less than any other brand in any aspect.

Allan, N95 is only quad band GSM+EDGE and single band (band1=2100 band) UMTS whereas K850 is quad band GSM+EDGE and triband UMTS, and please for god sake don't ask how does it matter and what does it means, btw Bluetooth tech and many other wirless technologies and standards are developed and established by folks in Ericsson and Sony ericsson....

@mdz and anyone else who is interested
The Sony Ericsson SO905iCS is part of the NTT DoCoMo lineup, the reigning telecom provider in Japan. The other Cybershot available in Japan is the W61S Cybershot by au (for KDDI, another telecom provider) but don't even think about getting this one, it's CDMA. The SO905iCS is locked to DoCoMo, however, with a purchase of a hypersim, the phone will work fine but has a low percentage of dropping calls.
SO905iCS camera features include:
5.1MP camera, with a junior version of the Sony Exmor CMOS sensor (found in Sony DSLRs)
3x optical zoom (owns the Samsung one any day)
Face Detection
Anti Shake
Smile Shutter
Macro and Super Macro (for as close as 3cm away)
Photolight and not xenon (unfortunately)
Shoots up to ISO 2000
360 degrees panorama
BestPicTM
Wide 2MP pictures suitable for High Definition viewing
Accelerometer to correct the picture rotation
VGA 30fps video recording (MP4)
By the way, the camera itself is manufactured from the hands of Sony itself, rather than Sony Ericsson, so you can expect it to be about 10 times better.
Others include:
2.7 inch screen with WVGA (480x864) pixel resolution
Sony BRAVIA powered screen
MicroSD/MicroSDHC support up to 4GB
Stereo speakers
Media player (AAC, WMA)
Video player (MP4, 3GP)
Voicemail embedded into the phone (NOT with your provider so... free voicemail ^__^)
Jog wheel for optimal for navigating
And unfortunately, the features only usable in Japan:
GPS with geotagging
Osaifu-Keitai (uses your phone just like a credit card; to buy something just swipe your phone by the scanner.. some other regions like Hong Kong has the same system, so it might work with that too)
i-Mode ( T___T )
I think that's about it, if I have forgotten something I will surely add it. Personally I thought it was a good buy especially with a widescreen BRAVIA powered screen, movies here i come! ^__^

Had the phone for 3 hours, Touch sensative buttons dont work properly, the phone crashed 3 times and it doesnt read the memory card witout freezng. I always swore by sony but this is shameful. Its going back in replacement for a samsung soul.
