PS i have photoshoped images in my phone. The images were taken a year ago, but the phone puts it in a february folder.
That's because I photoshoped the image last month.

      @wat gyi

Nope. It was removed in the k850 for some reasons.

Maybe because of the EXIF file modification.
If you modify a photo (lets say when you photoshoped an image) sometimes the date in the image's properties changes to the day you modified that image. But the imbedded date on the photo cannot be changed.

If you reorganize the modified photo in the media section, the date that the phone recognizes and the date burned in the image would not reconcile i.e. the image says you took the photo last month but the phone always put it in last year's album.

I bought this K850 November 28 (my birthday). After 3 days of using it and familiarizing with its features, I just noticed that its display lacks color, raw color, bland! The flash is useless! Pictures are dark, almost totally dark. U can hardly see the images. GSM arena's review on this K850 was correct that they don't recommend this K850 coz of bad pics, poor performance. A waste of money!

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) today announced its U500 mobile platform, a next generation architecture with a triple processor solution and a powerful multimedia subsystem, enabling new multimedia functionality and advanced multitasking capabilities. The U500 will not only pave the way for new consumer services, but also improve the usability and quality of existing multimedia services.

Robert Puskaric, head of Ericsson's mobile platforms business, says: "The U500 is a powerful multimedia platform with performance, graphics and usability, more resembling a mobile computer than today's mobile phones. With the U500 platform Ericsson will keep its world leading position within the multimedia mass market for years to come."

The U500 mobile platform is a response to the rapidly growing demand for advanced multimedia features and services requiring enhanced user experience. Designed for mass market mobile devices, the U500 is capable of groundbreaking features such as high quality camcorder, 12 Mpix camera, WVGA displays, advanced 3D gaming and 3D user interface, CD quality audio performance and high resolution video for a true mobile TV experience.

The Ericsson U500 mobile platform combines raw power through the implementation of three ARM11 CPUs and hardware accelerators, with state-of-the-art platform architecture through the integration of the digital baseband and an advanced multimedia companion chip into a single-die processor. The result is a powerful multimedia platform that is smaller and more cost efficient than what is currently available.

The advanced graphics capabilities available in the U500 are enabled through the implementation of ARM Mali200 GPU, a programmable, OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics processor producing fast, high quality graphics with the low power consumption required for a handheld device.

The U500 will be commercially available in the first half of 2009.

                About Ericsson Mobile Platforms
Ericsson Mobile Platforms offers complete, end-to-end interoperability tested platforms across 2.5 and 3G. A common software platform for GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, and HSPA terminals enables application portability, stability and security, and state-of-the-art power consumption and size. Ericsson has the smallest, most cost-optimized HSPA chipset in the market, making it possible for its customer to enable ultra-small HSPA phones.

                About U500 mobile platform
The U500 mobile platform is a highly integrated solution with three ARM11 CPUs providing world class multimedia performance including a 12 Mpix camera, camcorder (MPEG4, H.264 D1@30fps), TV-out, MIPI camera and Display I/F, HW Video Encoding and Decoding D1(H.263, H.264, MPEG4 (AS), VC1, DivX,), and Mobile TV (MBMS phase 2, DVB-H, Unicast). Connectivity solutions include WLAN 802.11, wireless USB(UWB) and high speed USB. The U500 supports quad-band WCDMA radio, 7.2/5.76Mbps HSPA broadband capabilities, a world class security solution as well as highly optimized power consumption.
The U500 is the first mobile platform to support 4x full-scene anti-aliasing (FSAA) with no performance penalty, boosting the quality of all graphics rendered to the screen. ARM Mali software will be provided as an integral part of the U500 platform software. The close link between graphics processor and middleware (the Mali Graphics Stack) reduces the time-to-market and integration risks for handset manufacturers. As well as the Khronos standards, the Mali software supports the Java JSR standards for 3D and vector graphics maximizing the options for third-party software developers and backwards-compatibility with existing Ericsson platforms.

Select Shake control and just flick the phone to control games or skip and shuffle between music tracks. Or opt for SensMe™ and discover music to match your mood and tempo. The W910 can hold over 900 of your favourite songs* on the 1GB Memory Stick Micro™ that is provided out of the box, with room for plenty more thanks to the expandable memory.

You can now even colour-match your W910 with some of Sony Ericsson’s bestselling accessories. The Portable Speakers MPS-70 and the Stereo Bluetooth ™ Headset HBH DS-220 now come in the same Hearty Red colour so you can enjoy your music in complete style.

“Our users tell us how important it is to have their music always with them – and to be able to get it on to their phone with a minimum of fuss. This is why we have great expectations for the W910”, says Ben Padley, Head of Music Marketing at Sony Ericsson. “The W910 makes it quicker and easier than ever before to transfer or download music so that it is always available at your fingertips. The ‘slider’ design is also something that resonates well with our customers; the W580 Walkman® phone was the best selling Sony Ericsson mobile phone globally in Q3 of this year”.

                  Your camera always with you
The K850 Cyber-shot™ phone is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, Xenon flash and Video Light that together help produce true digital camera results. have you tried 4 GB SDHC with the k850i?
SE is still new with the microSD card.
Frankly I prefer an M2 but its way too expensive for me, but I dont like the "the smaller, the better" concept of cards.
I feel much more comfort with a Mem. stick pro.

I'm going to an SE center now

                              Thanx sniper supra,,
I have a 4gb sd card from using my old n95-1 but may try using 8gb after fully charging fone and then popping in the 8gb card..I dont know on which sites now specified up to 32 gig but the same sites were saying moto banana fone z8 i think will handle 32 gig when it out of course..The trouble is this tho,,my sandisk v-mate can read the 8gbhc card and specifys by the slot on the v-mate that it hc compatible with hc but when i come to record any programme or dvd it records for 11 seconds then gives up..THE 4gb hc cards was fine in old n95 so it must be a cut off point of 4gbhc..OK then but why that amount? surley when sandsisk invented the hc specification if they new it was going up to 32gig did companys not make their products 32 gig compatible..What i mean is why go to all the trouble of inventing a new card for it only it to go to 4gb.. For instance they have super unleaded petrol for certain cars and these cars or vans have a coversion allowing IT TO RUN ON SUPER UNLEAEDED but that car or van could be 800cc or 8000cc but they did not come out with a statement saying ohh sorry it only supports cars up to 2000cc it has been invented to be accepted by ALL vehicles ,,THEREFORE if a device accepts a hc card why stop at 4gb when its only one step up from the normal 2gb card?? Why go to all that trouble,, its hc compatible therefore it should accept any card..Plus with s/e promoting bigger video recording,,5 megapixel files wich are obviously larger in file size than 3.2 megapixel and a superb mp3player you would think it would be in s/e interest to support the big cards which they should anyway ..
I especially ordred the card before xmas to go with my k850i..Oh well it will be use full in future but still baffled by the whole concept.

Looking ahead i dont fancy the xperia as i have tried many windows devices and besides beeing awkward for me to use the camera side of things is poor and playback of mpeg4 files have always juddered to a halt even at 176x144 size (qcif),, but like look of samsung g810 or the z10 or z12 moto that was in last months stuff or t3 mag,,my goodness that looked so cool in this graphite look but then again motos optics, camera have been bad so we will have to see how the partnership with kodak go ,,if they have not dissolved by then..
micro sd hc = future uncertanty !!

When they put 8gb there it means to say that it can read cards with 8gb capacity, but the optimal capacity that the phone can handle is half of what it can read - 4gb

well, I broke my phone yesterday and now I have to return to se center. I'd be using a very very old phone for three weeks

                                ;-(
Poor me. the keypad went mad, after discovering that I've been lying on my bed all night with my phone underneath me. Squashed I might say...
SE center said it would be 3 weeks...
                                Unlucky me...

NOTES,,,the 40 min fone call to cousin made my ear hot but so do all mobiles ive had..Normally i use 80% to 90% volume on mp3 so this was a bit exccesive altho was not listening all the time i would have deafness..

The most interesting facts are my cousin has w960i and says camera is poor and wi-fi is hit and miss and he misses d-pad for playing simple games and misses call and end keys..I have seen w960i in voda shop today and i cant believe its that wide??

Since my k850i was dead the obvious thing to do was charge it,,,,nearly bloody 1.5 hrs later before charging battery icon appeared so is something wrong or does dead battery in k850i mean DEAD???

THIS is my 10th charge and looking at my contract got it 27th december 2007,,but its been long between charges plus ive been using nokia n958gb as well....As yet still no reply from s/e on memory cards but they might ignore me after wat i thought of them and their p990i sort of got transfered into my email.!!!!!!!"whoops"

The trouble seems to stem from the 8gb micro sd card altho it supposed to support 32gb..
Once you take out card and charge it all ok.. then insert card and wait for a minute all is well as proven today,,it just wont charge with memory card in it.??
I am using 038 software version and as s/e rushed this out for xmas lets hope their are more updates to come to sort out this problem plus pixelly video sometimes ..
