I have tried croping pic now but made no difference, thanks for the suggestion.
If its a prob with the phone i can live with it, better that than it keep crashing or freezing on me.

go to
Menu > Organizer > File manager > Camera album or Pictures
then click to a desired image.
Press landscape to rotate image.
Zoom in by pressing the down rocker side key,
and a save softkey will appear.
Press save and a pop-up message will appear
Actual picture
Large
Medium
Small
Press small and you shall have a 160x120 image scale

PS, try cropping those images into smaller ones. I personally use images with 160x128 resolution.

That's weird.
Let me make a guess - your firmware is either R1CA029 or R1CA037.
Anyways, try the following
Use Pop-up instead of Activity Manu for new events
Menu>Settings>New events>Pop-up
Sorry to say but if that doesn't work, then I suggest you contact an SE center and have them solve out your problem. Based on my experience, the best way to sort out problems is to seek an SE center.

ive never used photo contacts in my life but sometimes limits are set on size of data and for contact use 240x320 would still fill the fone its not for use on computer,,..
Must get to sleep, been up all night with this damn thing its crashed 16 times..Have formatted ,,swore ,,been ,,now pigged off and got headache.Someone is going to answer for this i am not putting up with a p990i saga again..

@julie. If you make a call to one of your contact's is the person's picture on your screen then while you are dialing or when it is answered. I own the n95 instead of this phone. Hope you figure it out.

Julie. Can you attach differant ringtone's or song's for each of your contact's. If so than you should be able to do this as well. What does the manual say under the picture section.

Brynn i am using a 4gb card with ease.It is defo the micro sd kind from my silver n95.For me i am dreaming of the PSP fone i hav seen design and looks mega cool, Jo : )
