HELP PLS.
Picture against contacts are not showing up when receiving a call.
I have tried moving pics to phone then setting against contact again now as well but although the pic comes up when you open up contact, it will not show when the phone is ringing! any ideas?
I agree this is the best page on this site, its like waiting for the next soap episode!!

this is an excerpt from mobymemory.com and did not know they are dual voltage,,its like nokia had the rs mmc card dual voltage which were a waste of time because they changed to mini-sd then micro-sd..I wonder when i get my e-mail back from s/e if i should order a 8gb micro2 card?? maybe i might get more battery time?? But surly thats not the point it should work correctly with 8gb micro-sd if it works with 8gb micro2 stick..
Only time will tell but did not know about dual-voltage and never heard it discussed in any of the forums

Still unsure about my 8gb micro sd hc card,,it seems s/e website indicates its only compatible up to 8gb with its memory micro2 card which is a real good sales tactic,tell people its got two types of memory card function and only make the bigger cards suitable with its own memory card...
Have emailed s/e to find out the answer and will wait for the reply and see if i am right aktho the k850i is reading 7.777mb on the fone and i have been playing vids and songs its just so long to open up I.E.mins not seconds..The only other thing i can assume is its under powered but the 208MHz proccesser should not have much trouble with the k850i not having an O/S..

area info and push mssges make sure their set to NOT recieve push mssges and area info is OFF ....Area info on my gx30 switched on reduced the battery to one days use instead of two and that is how i initially found out about area info 4 years ago..Push mssges are alerts for the area you are in for example if their is a disaster a push mssge will be sent out but touch wood this has never happened in my 36 yrs of life..
Sniper supra has given a good average days events of how most people use there fones give or take they may txt less and photograph more etc, and as with Sniper supra i get a good 2 days usage and more if i do not listen to mp3 on way to work and back home from work,,(approx 2 hrs)i get three days but choose to charge on third night ready for next day fully charged..
I cannot think of any other reason Mrigant pawar as to why you get a shorter life unless in your pocket a key is pushed and display is being activated or you may check time and date alot throughout day meaning your display is on a lot,,but i do that anyway so the mystery continues

Everyday, I travel 2 hours from home to school, 45 minutes from school to work, and 30 minutes from work back home. During those times I use MP3 @full volume with manual equalizer settings. I take 10 to 20 pics at school and another 10 at work (I delete some or even all pics when I get home)
I send sms and mms heavily at school and at home.
I watch videos before I sleep. At the end of the day I end up using 60% to 50% of my total battery (fully charged)
The next day, following the same routine, I end up with 3% to 2% remaining battery life, or even sometimes my phone turns off halfway towards home.
So, its safe to say that I recharge battery every after 2 days.
I charge my phone for 3 hours every other day.
I don't know if that life span is good enough but that 2 days for me is better than my k750i before.

it was my friends K850i he got it on Orange UK thats why it was slow
i Love the Walkman 3.0 in it
and the Camera Cyber-shot Module!

but, wen i go 2 messaging ---> settings, i cant c nethng wen i press right on d d-pad. it jus shows d followin options:
--general
--text message
--picture message
--area info
--push
--voicemail number
i fully charged my fone dis afrnoon @ 3pm.
and now, its 10.55pm now.
battery is 60%.
haven't done much wit d fone.
was jus listenin 2 music for half n hr.
normally, battery lasts for a day only wit 15 mins of music and 5-12 pix a day.

cell broadcast,,
go to messages,,settings,, press right on d-pad,,subscriptions,,untick,,then press down for reception and tick OFF,,then down to cell info and switch off..
Then press right again on d-pad for push mssges and select never,,
Got my k850i back with note about software failure and has been updated to latest software..We apologise that all contacts will have been erased..My k850i now has software update service on it that was not their before,,

THANKS Sniper. I will try that. Im from essex in the uk.
I disagree with the reception being better on nokia phones. My old 6500 slide & my daughters 5610 both only had 2-3 bars at a time most of the time, my k850i has full amount of bars most of the time.

iv got a K850i by side right now!
its on orange so it has problems!
its very slow and slugish when it comes to Menu and Media
otherwise i love it!
Camera = Best

someone please tell me how is the loudness compared to the K790i. tell me the comparison.Can the loudness and quality be compared to a walkman? Mr pawar you seem very knowledgable. maybe you could please tell me the COMPARISON. how is the camera quality. are SE going to introduce a phone or this one with GPS and 5 mega pixel?
