@sniper. My wife has alway's used nokia, that's what got me into nokia's, cause i noticed she alway's got better reception than me! Nokia's have strong quad band reception.

Had mine for 18 months now & just upgraded to the K850i. A huge disappointment, unreliable software, phone crashed, deleted my SIM numbers & access to options restricted. Returning this & getting another K800i. Not concerned about street cred for latest models, want reliability, good camera & plenty of phone facilities, the K800i has it all.
Yes its frozen on me a few times, but switching off on back on sorts that out, the joystick is only just becoming unreliable when wanting to scroll down, but you have to bear in mind I send a minimum of 500 texts a month & this has had PLENTY of wear. It's easy to download music from my PC, giving me a fabulous choice of ringtones. MP3 playback is not of same quality of their Walkman phones but then you either want a camera or music phone.
The camera cover is looser now than when I got it, but only slides open if placed in a tight space, like phone compartment in my handbag, but not a problem if it's in its case. Camera is ready for use with a slide of the cover, meaning I have got some great spontaneous pictures, no need to press several buttons to switch on, just slide & go. I have printed these off on both at home & in Boots & the quality is frameable. I've covered holiday, birthdays & Xmas using just this camera & not been disappointed.
In summary, easy to use, reliable, great fun & I will be having another K800i for the next 18 months. I am a Sony Ericsson fan over Nokia any day, just don't know what went wrong with K850i : (.

You must have erased the original photo in the gallery. What you should do is create a folder in your phone memory (i.e. Contact Photos) then place all your contact pics in that folder, then try reloading those pics to each corresponding contact persons, then have one of then send you an sms.

I wud lyk 2 share an incident dat hppnd...
der's dis fren o mine who owns a brick a.k.a. n95.
I took her pic wit my k850i n showd it 2 her, she was amazed!
Obviously, she wanted d pic via blutooth.
N den, guess wat?
We cudnt tranfer da file...
I have transfered files frm my fones to many fones like 3250, 6630, w550i, w700i, e90, n90, n91, n 93i etc.
But, dis is d ONLY fone wich i cudnt transfer d file.
Neway, wat hppnd nxt was, i removed my micro d n put in her n95, n u kno wat hppnd l8r wen i went in d gallery!!!
if u dunno, i'll tel ya...
d f**kin fone froze!
d gallery was like ultra slow 1st, n den, it froze!
had 2 restart it twice.
den, finally, d transfer was complete!!!
m sooooo happy dat i got a SE.
No more Nokia 4 me!

HELP pls..
I have added a picture to my contacts, all the pic's show up in the contact list when opened but when i receive a call or text from my pic contacts the pic is not being displayed, have i over looked something?

Tha only down side is that i know:
- Is doesnt have 8 gb built in, like tha w960i ( but it can be more coz of tha memorycard!!)
And can maybe used tha 256mb also as for storage?
- I dont know what "Optical joystick navigation" is
Is it a touch key, that ya have to slide ya finger over?
Or i it a 4-way keys , like on tha w910i, k850i and w850i?
- They say it has a video call camera, but i dont see it.
Or it could be very small, or coz on that it is unkwon on tha pictures
Those are tha things i dont get

I find the acoustics in the k850i far better than my n958gb because of clarity,,the n95 8gb is thicker and muddier whereas the vocals shine thru on the k850i even with bass up..
It has been said that the colour in the k850i is more natural than the n958gb that artificially enhnces colours..You should look at wat you are taking photo of and if its woodland and the trees are dark or pitch black in places then thats how they will look on the photo ,,i think some people think the camera should enhance the image so the dark bits come up with tree leaves and branches and its wrong..Take alook at what your photographing then the photo if possible and they should be same detail and colours BUT in nokia the colour is artificially enhanced making it look fantastic but its false photography with wrong colouring..
The k850i tells the correct story and gives good sonic clarity and good battery life and its quite snazzy looking,,im happy so are many others and nick is extremly angry at that concept
