Give it up buddy nokia's have strong signal reception. Beside's the only time in your car that you might not be able to charge your phone is when the car battery is completely dead. Your argument would make more sense agains't the iphone where you can't put in a fully charged spare battery because it's soldered to the phone.

ok, but what will you do if both battery's run out of Power?
they will be No GPS or Wi-Fi or calling !
and another SE has better signal reception then Nokia......

be more realistic..and besides K850i can have GPS ..with the accessory! so its not as tho it doesnt have it...i can have it.........

nokia fanboys keep off this forum,,its boring us you know,,you try to wind us up but in the end who cares,,iam using the k850 at the moment and n958gb and if i had to depend on one of them it would be S/E k850 cause the nokias battery would be dead or crashed in a situation where you depended on battery if you were stranded somewhere...
You cannot beat s/e for battery stamina ,,period,, and thats wat counts in the end if your stuck somewhere its no good if you have no battery left,, the fone is no good to anyone and you can send out an S.O.S. signal for help via the inbuilt torch/led lights and be saved,,if you had a nokia youd be dead!!!!!

K850i is not crap ...its one the best phones out at the moment!
its all these Nokia fanboys coming in here..and advertising *N-Series* to all of us...
WE DONT CARE!! about N-Series
were all Happy owners the Legend K850i !!!!!
we dont care if it doesnt have GPS,WIFI,3.5MM JACK
we still LOVE OUR K850i's !!!!!!!!
leave us alone .....Nokia fans argghhhh

all n82, n95 and n958gb gave wifi, gps, tv-out...
the difference is form factor, screen and memory card slot.
but there is a reasonable pricing between them.
u dont repent for paying more and getting less features.

Nokia is doing the same thing
every N-Series lacks something another has e.g N95 8GB/N82
N82 - Xenon Flash
N95 8GB - 8GB Memory/ Better Multimedia
so its not just SE doing it.......Nokia is doing the exact same Thing!!

devices having good cam dont hav wifi. eg.k850
devices with wifi, touch screen dont hav a good cam, eg.w960,P1i
devices with good multimedia dont have either wifi or good cam.eg. walkman series.
so SE is targeting specific consumers in order to boost the sale of multiple devices.
this is the fact.

just look at the number of devices SE is having advanced features like wifi, gps, tv-out etc. and the number of devices nokia is having with these advanced features. that exposes everything here.

yes. the k850 is using the same old UI when it was invented some time during 2003-04.
really i have never come across this fact. thanks to w4sq for his killing and boring experiences with the UI.

u can always buy accessories at extra cost whenever reqd.
but why do u need accessories at all if everything is available for the same price or a little more than that of K850?
wouldn't be nice to manage if a single convergent device has all the modern features which we apply in our day to day life?
wifi-without it i can't live. take photos upload to web, browse the net or send mail from my living room or patio without opening the laptop or paying to my network provider.
gps-i seldom use but it is a feature that can be used whenver reqd.
doc viewer-open email attachments on the go.
vga@30fps-just compare qvga and vga side by side u will know the difference.
tv-out - my entire family can view the photo album or watch videos out of my mobile.
i mean 3rd party applications that are non java.
now tell me which is better - using accessories and managing them or having an all in device????

If you buy a fone the same design it gets boring quick so getting used to the different keypad etc on k850 is part of a new experiance to enjoy + why buy the fone in first place if you dont like keypad ??
Stuff wi-fi its only a weak signal in mobiles and outside your own network they charge £5 an hour to use a hotspot.Get yourself an unlimited data pack ie voda £7.50 and get web access anywhere and hsdpa in certain places.
The sirf star ii chip in nokias is weak and your much better off doing wat lenin states..
The k850 is an advanced device with all the gubbins of n95 but 4x less video resolution plus most people like me only use very few symbian apps and in reality theirs not much between these devices running a200 platform and series 60,,
I have n958gb and its true that the larger screen with 240x320 resolution is not really suited and should have been vga (640x480)its quite pixelly whereas k850 is more punchier with less bordersand so looks a better screen overall..
Their are a few more updates yet ive heard on some websites but i like the device and like pro photographers with patience and settings you get good shots.Dont forget the pros that do pictures for mags etc use raw files,,histograms,airbrushing and pro lighting to get their shots,,were talking about a mobile fone and for that it does a damn good job.

It's the best fone made by sonyE.Only if they could put more internal-memory on the fone it would be more intresting.but it`s ok i still love it.

i can see your point lenin but the thing is, most people buy these phones on a contract and get either the N series phones or the K850 free anyway, so people dont want to me carrying around accessories.
the fact is the N95 and the N82 etc are all in one, and everything it does it does very well.
also the video smoothness comment is a load of rubbish. its 30 fps, just the like the N95 & N82, excpet of course the quality of the video recording on the N82 and n95 is 4x better. And actually they dont look bad on the computer at all!
