@dani, so you are here,good conversation with khalil infact, i think you made good choice betwwen k850 and w960, know whati like k850 very much but one think just keeps me thinking that why cant SE make a phone with 30fps VGA video recording like nokia n95 and n82 and why cant it make a gaming phone just like engage and n81 because its the same company which is a frontrunner in digital cameras, handycams, and also the makers of playstation, its not like they dont have capacity,just look LG which had no reat history in mobiles and handycames comes with VIEWTY which has great video recording, i cant understand SE marketing strategy, its just like SAMSUNG who provides mobile processers and large internal accessaries to all mobile companies,SAMSUNG had launched 7 MP mobile in 2005 and 10 MP with optical zoom in 2006 in south korea cdma network and doesnt launch it elswhere, and we are going GA GA over 5MP cameras.

same here, i came from a Nokia 6233 to a SE W850i i was amazed so much at the W850i i gave the 6233 to my mum and Not used it since lol

if you are considering buying this phone do not listen to the crazy nokia fans on this place lol
i was a symbian person and i wanted to try out sony ericsson i have had this fone for 2 days and i am extremely impressed! its not as good as symbian but the other features built in the phone help alot
trust me its a very good buy and this is coming from a symbian fan!!!

anyway, Mobile review is inaccurate, they tabled out that K850 records video at QCIF quality at 15 fps which is all wrong

yea maybe ur right about N91 bt what about all the ither things?
besides N91 was a flop, id be surprised if anyone remembers it.
i think its better to have the choice of buying accessories instead of being forced to pay for everything at once, thats the message im trying to send. besides the accessories that come with nokias beg to be upgraded dont you think?

Dani, its a tough choice.
I alays preferred SE but i have tried the N series and they are better than i expected.
Its just that i find them useless.
Yes, symbian is a more vesatile oprationg system but i find that the 3rd party applications are mostly useless and sooner or later u will end up with a virus on your phone.
Yes the nokia phones have a better camera with better detail but the K850 pics are superb when you can take pics at the right setting and you can end up with really wonderful pics (the auto mode in nokia is better so its more point and shoot but K850 ismore professional and takes more wit to take a better pic)
The media player in K850 is truely amazing. It groups Pictures, Music and Video all in one place while in N82 you have to open different applications for each, plus who needs a 3.5mm jack when you can get any stereo bluetooth headphones you want (they are the best way to go)
and lets face the truth, K850 is simply better looking and classier than the N82 blending silver and black superbly not just one dull colour. besides with N82 nokia kinda copied Sony Ericssons keypad design.
Come to think of it, in terms of design and innovation Sony always comes with it first them others follow (xenon flash, auto rotate, lens cover, auto lens cover the list goes on and on)
Sony ericsson phone sare usually more subtle than nokias and each phone will fit you perfectly, they dont follow the philosophy of just jamming everything into one phone just to be safe.
Other than that, if you want GPS you can pair any GPS bluetooth accessory with any sony ericsson phone and it works beautifully so that if you dont want GPS ur not forced to pay for it. (same with wifi)
also, the flash themes in the K850 are definitely better to look at than the N82 themes (u will get bored of those icons trust me)
K850 is truely a wondeful phone and it definitely suits me best, in the end it all depends on what you prefer but i definitely recommend the K850 to anyone.

the camera quality has nothing to do with the color depth of the phones screen or its brightness!
K850 screen supports 256K colours while the N82 supports 16 Milion
but in the end they BOTH take pics in 16 million colours so they have the same colour depth when you view them on a PC screen or print them out.
N82 does have a higher DPI and a bigger lens so in the end it does take crisper pictures but the K850 has more control over the camera functions so you can manipulate your pic more also K850 has more camera dedicated buttons so its easier to access (even a more user friendly interface)
it all depends on your priorities in the end.

but it has a battery to support the calling features only for 3 days while other phones with many other features work for 2 days. guyz r u going to spend sleepless nights whil ur fone is getting charged?

nah...i dont think so..i do have both n82 and k850..in picture quality n82 wins because of its color support 16.7 million colors that includes and helps when taking photos..more faster too in accelerometer feature..k850 only got less than 500k of color support on which taking less color resolution..k850 only have brighter backlight than n82 thats why your thinking it has more brighter photos..k850 has better sound quality though..lol

does k850i and w910i have the same capacities in flash themes, or the w910i's flash themes are more superior coz walkman phone got this flash theme feature first
