It's a nice phone. The 5MP Camera is great, and the videos are super. I would give 7 to the design, but, it's fine. SE phones are very affodable, that's why i like them, and they are very tough and quality. Great work, i hope K900 will be even greater.

        >>Those Having "Black" shots/pictures--
Solution: do not block the small hole beside the LED light. When taking shots, be sure that no fingertips or fingers are on the camera view but rather only on the sides of k850. I had this problem for a day and have figured that the black/dark shots are caused by the blockage of our finger/s to the small hole beside the LED light.

        >>For Those Having Fingerprint Problem with their K850--
Solution: buy a screen protector/film for k850's screen (as of this moment, there's no available for k850. Screen protector/film for n95 or 02 will do I'm sure). For the body, have it "masked" with transparent film or any other film (here in the Philippines, there's the Gmask company who do service in providing protective films for mobile phones and etc.)

Yea i agree with kira....nokia has already 3 5mp camera phones...but SE only has 1..I'm sure that SE will come up with a better 5mp cyber-shot phone..N82 has poor audio quality and it's slower compare to the K850i plus I don't think that N82 has picbridge, bestpic, photofix and other camera applications the SE has...looking forward for the next 5mp cyber-shot phone and hoping SE and SE fans will have the last laugh!!

            Do not worry SE fans,
this is the beginning of 5mp camera phones,
Nokia has N95, N95 8g, and N82. And SE has only k850. The next SE 5mp phones will definitely be the best camera phones.

( we can see how the camera in Nokia N82 is better than in N95 because it is the third 5mp camera phone and Nokia company tried to avoid some of the camera problems in N95 ).

I have a question. Can I make my own ringtone and transfer to this phone? Does it require special software? What about music transferring? I've never use a Sony Ericsson before

To SE Fans see the truth

The picture quality is great. It's the best you can find on the market, which is kind of surprising. After all Nokia N82 is supposed to be an all-in-one device and it's strange that it outperforms even dedicated cameraphones when it comes to camera quality.

Speaking of which, the guys at Nokia have even managed to go another step further. The only thing Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB were to blame for was the inadequate LED flash. Now Xenon is implemented with Nokia N82 and this takes us to a completely different level.

Putting the flash aside the cameras of Nokia N82 and Nokia N95 do not differ at all

***Furthermore, it is the best flash to be found on the market dethroning Sony Ericsson K850. It's not even a close call; the difference hardly needs any further comment.***

FB: what are you talking about? my samsung g600 has a higher res screen than the k850 an also my nokia 6300, much brighter and much clearer, ive compared them both with my friends k850, even he was amazed with the quality of my g600 screen, theres no denying that 16milion screens are whaaaay better than 262k.

Hey man, many people say the firmware was released today. Can you please give us the link to the web page that has the firmware update or any info relating this ????

                                      Thanks.

it works fine now (after the incident when the shutter cover wont budge, i swear to God i wont update the firmware unless it's SAFE to update it!). Camera flash syncs together with the shutter, flash works brilliantly bright(you have to know how to hold the phone for photoshooting. The flash sensor zone is totally out of bounds for your fingers if you want a great shot with your flash on!) Earpiece included sounds better than my Creative earpiece. And just recently, my friend bought a Nokia 6500 and i compared the phone's res with K850i. Way too different i'm telling ya. K850i colours are stunningly better compared to Nokias. Plus, the K850i lens camera is protected (unless if there's dust inside it, it'll be something else though~ :P) It is obviously bulky when it comes to physical features but dont forget it is made for CyberShot. That's the reason why it's bulky coz the phone works both as a phone and a digi camera at a same time. (Unless there's some genius out there who could create something like this but smaller as a microchip, that'd be a blast!)
Love this phone to the last coz it's pretty handy! I dont have to bring 2 stuffs (phone and digi cam) to class anymore since i can record my lessons and lectures with the phone. (Love the video recording. It's in .mp4 format but the res is quite satisfying when i view it via my notebook. Not to mention sound recording too!)
Firmware update? Well, I got deceived when the first time i updated the firmware. The camera and processing speed worked fine and yeah, it did function a lil bit better than the previous state. However, when i woke up the next morning, the shutter cover wont budge whenever i press the ON/OFF button. So, for first timers out there, do consult to the pros before you make any updates. I know SE just released the latest firmware but in order to avoid any unwanted circumstances, it's better to wait for confirmation.
and to Nokia fans out there, go scrutinize in your own forum. You're free to post any comments but you're not doing it in a profesional way.

                                        Regards, fB
