I have this phone in Singapore. It is really cool. I like the soft keys. You don't press them it's like gentle touch and will have a nice effect on the button you press. But quite slow in camera start-up. But better than N95!

The VGA camra on this phone is exceeding good, althogh if it was a 1.3 mega pixel the ohone would be alot better

Shane, called T-Mobile got a credit of £180.00 so will picking up the K850i from CPW later today for £19.99. Cheers mate for teh advice.

alrite mate, ur correct t-mobile do not stock the phone yet but theres away around this. 1st thing is to ring t-mobile and find out what ur discount is on ur upgrade maxiumum is around £200 so get as much as possible then head off down to carphonewarehouse like me and get ur upgrade there, Bingo!!

I want this phone just called T-Mobile for an upgrade and they recon it will not be available until November now!! WHY? Could it be that they are waiting for there FLEX offer to finish? How many people are they loosing to other providers!! Would go to CPW but dont want to pay £150.00 for an upgrade any ideas people.

hi, i have a little icon of a person with an arrow going from top to bottom, this icon is on the battery home line. it is right beside the service bars, it is an icon like bluetooth or other programs you are running. i want to know if you know what this icon of a female with and arrow means and how i can turn this off.

dude, i can't wait till us aussies get a hand on this one... Read alot of opinions and reviews on this phone, seen alot of prices abroad. which means we're probably looking at around $800 + for the device. I currently have a K800 and am left feeling quite dated. I luv my 3.2 mp cam, but want something with alittle more horses backing the pony... ha ha sony pony... anyhoos... our sony rep told us that it'd be out october, and it's already quite late... Please phone Gods bestow me a K850... at least long before my mates catch on and get it before me... and please make it available at lower than $800 aus... even though i'm probbably just gonna try and do a store discount on it anyway... party yall... bring me k850 now...

What a shame, this phone has a factory fault ! The camera takes very bad pictures when the flash is needed. The SE forum at ESATO are discussing it in detail.I see the rating in here is coming down too.SE should STOP selling phones to the public without proper testing them first. Just my 2 cents.

getting dark shots? Read your manual. It shows you the correct way to hold the phone. No fingers should be on the camera side of the phone. If that doesn't fix it, wait for the firmware update coming mid november.

i think v can cut a scratch cards in exact circular shape as the camera glass n stick it on..that way v can protect the camera glass from scratched..if not exact circular shape then any shape which covers the glass well...

ive used sony k790i,p910i,p990i...my best ever phone till date was p910i,i still miss it...the jog dial(
multifunctional),touch scree,the screensize,the keypad all were perfect...
i didn use k790i for long though...any change in life takes a lil time to get adjusted to...so change from nokia ui to sony will hardly take 20 days to get really used too...and yes the n95 colors are over rich compared to real life...but i think rich colors look better for normal life photos(i might sound silly)...only people in to serious photography should really look in to this aspect...
well im enjoyin my k850i...atery life is rocking...

i said i nevr want to compare both phones feature wise..caz i love both nokia n sony...n95 is a smartphone whereas k850i is basically a di hard cameraphone...due respect to both nokia n sony...they are doin a good work but still lot of scope for improvement...both r winners in their own terms...

anything else lemme know...thanks for the reply guys...we are here to enjoy n encourage n share our views...not to fight...i am just very disappointed caz of n76..nokia replaced it 7 times in 3 months(caz of silver peeling) n that too caz i had very gud contacts there...finally with lots of pressure they agreed to refund in terms of another phone of equal value...i had the 7 phones in my hand for 17 days out of 4 months in al..so i got frustrated...but i really think that nokia is compromising on their quality which is a very bad sign...i hope nokia comes back to track n sony keep attracting customers from such nice releases...anyhting else guys leeme know...
