    It seems the latest batches of the SE releases are way too over priced. Users with little brand loyalty has expressed the K850 and W910, even K770 are over priced compare to older generation handsets and rivals' recent releases.
    I guess it is trying to rip the die hard FAN bases which will be getting it no matter what. Yet, after a month or two, it will have to drop to substain itself just like some of the MOto handsets in the past.

      just got mine yesterday from carphonewarehouse £350.00 simfree had to take it back today for a new one as the phone stopped reading my memory card so it just said 0 at the side of my memory card.
      they swapped it straight away no probs and this one up to now is fine.
      i had n95 before and n73 , have to say pics were better on those but hopefully get used to it.
      ringtone loud, alot louder than previous and earpiece volume is very good.
      one fault is on messages it only vibrates once and message ringtone should last longer .
      apart from that i am quite happy with it.

        To those of us who already purchased this phone:

        Which country are you from?

        I'm trying to get the picture of where did SE started stock shipping from.

          Better reception? Well, I'm not sure. But I guess you would rather risk health for better reception?

          Cell phone radiation levels
          By CNET staff (updated October 03, 2007)
          What it all means
          According to the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), specific absorption rate, or SAR, is "a way of measuring the quantity of radiofrequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body." For a phone to pass FCC certification, that phone's maximum SAR level must be less than 1.6W/kg (watts per kilogram). In Europe, the level is capped at 2W/kg while Canada allows a maximum of 1.6W/kg. The SAR level listed in our charts represents the highest SAR level with the phone next to the ear as tested by the FCC. Keep in mind that it is possible for the SAR level to vary between different transmission bands and that different testing bodies can obtain different results. Also, it's possible for results to vary between different editions of the same phone (such as a handset that's offered by multiple carriers).

          It's important to note that in publishing this list are we in no way implying that cell phone use is or isn't harmful to your health. While research abounds and some tests have shown that cell phone radiofrequency (RF) could accelerate cancer in laboratory animals, the studies have not been replicated. Cell phones can affect internal pacemakers, but there is not conclusive or demonstrated evidence that they cause adverse health affects in humans.

                  @4Bbn

                  thanks for the info. the GPS mobile phone market is heating up as the website stated. time after time, the GPS will certainly tend to be a important reliable tech gradually in the future. it was a good idea since nokia complement GPS with mobile technology....

                  perhaps some user may not agree, instances user KDqn, who are still reminding bad experience about the "crashing tree disaster"

                  probably this is the effect after the accident, therefore he keep hark back me "in english please"....well, non of my post written in chinese, korean or japanese...

                          Hey Ya,

                          How are you ? I just went to the store and boughtthis marvel. I am so happy. Took some shots in morning and tranferred them to computer. They are just dazzaling. Did little bit surfing. Installed softwares. Touchscreen thing is just wow. I am learning it's manual so that i can take professional shots. ANY OF YOU CAN TELL ME HOW TO TAKE THAT TYPE OF SHOT :-

                              You're joking, right?

                              @4TEp

                              The SAR rating also directly corresponds to how well the phone will pick up cell tower signals. It's not just spewing out radiation for no reason.. A higher rating = better reception.

                                To cell phone lover (on page 7, 2007-10-12 06:40)

                                A high SAR rating means the phone emits more radiation than lower ratings. I am in the USA, and according to the SE website(yes, that is where I got the information), the sar rating is 1.50 w/kg by the ear, 1.56 w/kg worn around the body, with a maximum allowable rating of 1.6 w/kg in USA and Canada. The person who wrote 1.13 w/kg corresponds to Europe I suppose but not North America. I don't really know why SAR ratings differ between the europe and the north america but they do.

                                  I have returned the n95 (nice phone but I just don't like Nokia) and managed to get me one of this beauties. Now, can anyone help me with the wifi? My home network does not see the cell. Where must I switch it on? With the N95 it was all there right out of the shop :(

                                    I wonder if people are having problems with dark pictures because they're taking it with their hand on the camera side. One person who posted said his/her pictures were coming out funny until they read the manual and it says don't have your hand on the front (camera) side of the phone. Even if it's not covering the camera.. I believe it creates shadows and messes up the autofocus or other image correction features.. at least that's all I can think of.

                                    Might as well give it a try if you're having problems.. I saw a picture of the manual.. and in the manual there was a picture depicting how you should hold the phone when taking pictures.. if that makes any sense

                                      Nice screen(the screen is much nicer when compared to the Nokia 6500; which claim to have 16 million color)& features, but didn't give the feel good factor ... look or touch!
