I think they are a scam...when i spoke to them they sounded like straight up crooks.
But i found another from Hong Kong, dunno if they a scam...cos with them they say theyll give you 1 yr warranty, 90 day full refund or exchange....what yall think??

I'm fan SE Mobiles! I have a K550.. and I'm just waiting to release K850 in Brazil!

680, keep trying Digital Match or any other store that imports directly from UK, not HK, other wise your dialed list with be your dialled list.

Good luck with that phone. It's not as good as the ones straight from UK, cause they're formatted for HK. Maybe you ordered the K858?
Perhaps it's not the same with Motorola, so good luck with the one from Asia.

The SE website has posted that it is only compatible with 4GB cards. If your store has a return policy on memory cards, then try it, if you can find an 8GB card.

GSMArena is not on top of their information. If you look at SE-UK's specifications on the K850, it's a quadband GSM, triband HSDPA phone.

In English please, and I am still with my Motorola RAZR MaxxV6, and I love it. But it's high time for me to move on to a phone with a higher camera, Canadian HSDPA/3.5G capability, smaller form, SE accessory compatibility, longer battery life.
Plus, it's double sided glass/glossy design is pretty nice.

Sorry, but that's the UK, not North America.
Here, WiFi is not free, other then business'.

Anyone could tell me if it is the joystick they use on the phone.
I look at the picture and the reviews, they said it would be scrolling. What does it mean??
anyway, i've been using k700 and k750. and i hate the joystick!!!

It's nothing but a scam, first of all, seller only want to make money base on supply and demand, now why in hell the guy would like to make less money and pass the saving to you? Think about it.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't wait and ordered anyway but now I'm reassured! I got mine from www.phonesource-usa.com which was the lowest price I have seen so far - $609. They only have the Blue one however.

There's no different in terms of warranty, because S.E. offer world wide customer support, doesn't matter where you buy the phone and where you use the phone. In fact, their repair center is in FL. Overall makes it very easy for us. Another great reason to purchase sony's product.

hi just recieved my k850i today and its awwsome only thing is there is a lot of people out there who dont want a contract but are prepared to pay top whack price for a top whack p.a.y.g. phone thats why mine will be going straight on e-bay may the best man win -or ladie!!!

The samsung G800 is barely better than the sony ericsson K800i. Cybershot all the way! All that samsungs really have going for them is size!

This is really the best mobile I have ever seen, it's sweet looking, good sound b'coz it's SE. 5 mp camera, etc.

- The performance (very fast !)
- The features
But I already have U700V, which is quite good to. Sometimes a bit slow, but has a good cam, etc.

Does anyone know if there is a disadvantage to purchasing a SE phone from Asia or Europe? I would prefer to get the American K850i but am able to purcahse today if I decide to go with an Asian model. Any thoughts??
