Hi...I too got the e-mail about the release, however the photo was not active for display and the links did not work correctly. Thus, I could not find out the details associated with the release. Can anyone direct me to a url that works correctly? Also, where can I purchase this phone unlocked? Thanks! Steve in Denver

It is released in European countries. AS for other countries you have to wait a tat little for the shipping.

                        SvCH-
Your being here is evidence enough that this phone scares you out of your 'N95 is phone king' underwear.

                        4Bbn-
You've never tried the buttons yet, have you.
And I'm sorry that it's expensive in Dubai, but here, it's a direct price competitor in Canada.
670 vs the N95's 1100, and it being the original one? The N95-1 is worth no more then 200-300 dollars. It's usability is worse then a W810, though it has more features, though those features are the downfall of the HAVE TO UPGRADE or UPDATE N95. When you buy a phone, it should be complete, you shouldn't have to go back to the company's website to update it.

                        mUuc-
Just use something to shave down on the plastic on the side that it says either M2, or MicroSD. Though it's not something that I'd recommend.

                        4GB is enough for 700-800 good quality songs. 5mins / 6-7MBs.
And I'm also too lazy to do the math, so here, 192 pictures from an 8.1 camera at highest resolution is only 256Mb. You have more then enough space for your pictures with 8GB alone.

P.S. Don't forget which side is which.

This phone is released in less than a week in the UK. It is set to be one of the biggest selling mobile phones of all time in the UK and with good reason, there is yet to be an aspect discovered about this phone that is considored bad. People will say it lacks this and lacks that, but if you are looking for something that this phone lacks, then why buy it and then slag it off?

Thank you for answering so many questions!

About the following: "And this phone is not capable of having two cards within it, if the cards are not modified to allow space for one another."

In what means modified? And is it possible to do?

                                    Thanks!

                                      SvCH-
Here's another opinion on this phone, your eyes and mind are not worthy to have interaction with this phone.

                                      nxQI (john)-
N81 sucks, unless you're in UK, then it's 'ok'.
N95, only good thing is you have multiple ports, and a better recording/playback quality with a brighter screen. Downside, battery is still bad, no lens cover, and no hotswap or North American compatibility.
K850, trumps everything else of the N95/N81, minus the GPS or the TV-out, both of which you can get as an accessory.

                                      FBw} (cell phone lover)-
M2 is a card developed by Sony
MicroSD is a card developed by SanDisk
M2 is cheaper then MicroSD, and one is slightly smaller then the other. No real difference in capability, but SonyEricsson has allowed compatibility with MicroSD cards since within the past 1-2 years, most of the memory within phones have been taken care of the MicroSD hotswap slot. Though, on SEs in the past, they've been taken care of by the M2 hotswap port.

                                      PT2M (Umair)-
That's nice to know, pre-photoshopped photos. I mean, without having to turn up the contrast, you have a sunny day within a room, or a bright red dress when it's suppose to be an elegant crimson.
We'd like to see true photos, not ones that are extorted without thought.

                                      xBCg-
There is a difference within the card speed, but not noticible. MicroSD is like 1.6mbps or 3.6 with MicroSDHC. M2 is somewhere from 2.8mbps to 3.8mbps.
The cards are theoretically capable of 32GB per card. And this phone is not capable of having two cards within it, if the cards are not modified to allow space for one another.
Also, the phone might have something within it's UI that only allows it to access one card at a time.

                                      n}u} (pbless)-
If you're from a triband country, or a UMTS country, that's nice, the G800 is perfect. But if not, then it sucks. The K850 and the N95 still sit on top, respectively.

G800/G600 cannot still compare to either K850 or N95 with it's capabilities. No quad-band. No HSDPA (triband). No special gimmick (K850=accellerometre/new ui/3 LED flashlight/XMB, N95=VGA recording/GPS/WiFi/TV-Out).
No professional lens (K850=Sony, N95=Carl Zeiss).
