even though i still like this k850 :-). for my view the hardware(design, material quality, etc) seems been improve 60% compare to the earlier k810, and the software(UI, camera, etc) are also enhance 50%. good phone!!

Everyody, this cell phone is amazing ! I will agree on one thing though, the design of the keypad is the only thing I wouldn't give a 10 on. But you have too keep in mind that it's user friendly, and that's the main idea.
Also, so what if it has a 2.2 inch screen ? If you check the reviews you'll notice that all of them say that the K850i has an amazing screen. You want 16 million colors ? Go and get a NOKIA cell phone, ( don't foget to charge it 2 times a day ) LOL!
Lastly, QVGA @ 30fps is really good everybody. It's really impressive, just not as good as the Nokia N95's VGA @ 30fps.
So in the end, lots of you people are just making a fuss about something that's not even a problem.

I just called O2 UK and ordered my K850i and it is arriving on Tuesday. I asked, and they have it out of stock in store with a 2 week wait. But online the have it in stock.
I got mine over the phone. And I'm planning to post some good pictures and maybe a small review on my Flickr.

ok they say that the k850 is a triband on many websites...but it also says that it has GSM 850 network??? so therefore its realistically quadband rite??? since it has all GSM 850/900/1800/1900

I am a SE FAN and i don't really like the new K850, because of the video recording (QVGA), the small 2.2inch screen and the ugly keyboard design.
Its not because you are a fan that you have to like every single cell phone of the brand...!!!

it says on the *CarephoneWarehouse* that the K850i is *Available* and can get it on Contract's aswell but it says *Out of Stock* Loool
but atleast its Available now in the UK

At the end of the day, Sony Ericsson kick ass with their phones. The battery life is phenomenal, the screen quality is second to none and the user interface is simple. I have had other phones in the last year, but keep going back to my W850i, after my W800 from the year before. It IS a phone, with a good camera, and about time too. If you want a better camera, buy a Digital Camera which is meant to just be a camera, if you want a great phone, with music, a radio, expandable memory and a fantastic PHONE camera then this is the phone to go for. Forget the N95... far too pikey.

I think your all forgetting this is a phone at the end of the day! Wifi!? I work with handsets and I have veeeery few people who actually use wifi! And while we're on the subject of nokias! bain of my life, nothing but problems! Great on paper phone, not at all practicall for every day life!!! Personally I wopuldn't have anything but a SE now!
