I'm watching this beautifull mobile phone and I get disturbed by al this "know all" around here and it makes me deeply sick. Let me ask you a simple question, "Are you stupid because you weren't born the first man on this planet?" I think not, on the contrary, you may be wiser. So what's with al this who's first and who's done that before? Can't you just simply enjoy and accept that it is a beatifull peace of technology? Get a life!!!! There are more important thing in life than this nonsense you proudly argue about in here...

My topic here is marriage and convergence. It is ridiculous for SE to split the Walkman and Cybershot brands in a brazen attempt to make more money. The market is evolving and it is clear that people want an all in one multifunctional convergence device. The Cybershot has to marry the Walkman. Look, despite its shortcomings the Nokia N95 is selling so well because of its plethora of functions. SE's cynical omission of WLAN and insistence of substandard video is becoming irritating.

and still the resolution of 640x480 was made by Sharp!!! But. why does this company has so low sales? And i think u dont know for sure, ever, who made the first tech. U only see who made the first,on the market with the tech. And all the people say, he was the one, oh no he was the one. :-) so, this phone is realey great, with good stats. Still, the w960 is better :p Good job SE

Finally! A Cyber-shot phone with a D-pad. I heard that SE's joystick get real bad in time, but I wonder if this model's "D-pad" is user-friendly? Won't a thumb stumble on the near numeric buttons while pressing the Navi? Is the # '5' can be use as select button too? What about the 3 very small uhm buttons (2 soft keys and a select key), are they easy to work with too? As I can see from its other pix, the whole front part of the phone is a fingerprint magnet which makes this phone look uglier. The left spine of the phone is empty (no buttons) is it good? It's cool that it has an automatic camera cover but the back of the phone (and its design) really turns me off. I like K790/K800 and K810i's camera front (phone's back) better. And the numeric keys, what's with that? Looks like a remote control keys (just kidding). I wonder if its really easy to use just like what other review were saying. Won't the C key too hard to press since its too close to the 'hang' key? And its pretty small button too.
Though K850 is way far better than K800 because of its 5MP, Navi button and other improved features (better video caps). Still K800 is cheaper (and will get much affordable once this model is on the market) and has a better camera front (especially K810). So for those who want to buy K800 but confused if they should buy (and waiting for the release of) K850, if you can afford it then go to K850. But if you want to be practical, go for K800 (it costs $300 in the Philippines). But for those who already own the 3.15MP K-series and want to upgrade, I say go with K850 unless you don't like the design (like I do), then I think its better to wait for the next Kseries (would it be K900?) and hope it'll look the best K-series phone ever.
Can't wait for a complete review of this phone. Plz GSM Arena hurry up! :P

this is a phone you can take anywhere because you can use it as a digital camera and you can use it as a MP3 player.

digital zoom and QVGA video recording...why is SE always presenting phones with minor defects? and a camera phone without optical zoom can never match a real camera, no matter the photo resolution.

To whoever was saying that SE copied Sharp here are some facts:
- SE IS THE FIRST COMPANY TO HAVE A CAMERA ON THEIR PHONE!! (T68i) ,,, so does that mean that all other companies copied them by putting cameras in their phones??
- SE is the first comapany to have auto focus
- SE is the first company to have a camera cover
- SE i sthe first company to have an automatic cover (K850i)
So doeas that mean that all companies are copycats by doing those things now???

Quite a nice looking phone, with great features to boot, not sure about the navigation being around the "2" & "4" keys but it wouldnt take much to get used to. Top marks from me
