take note of gsmarena's news report
on k850, a portions reads:
"The Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-shot is the next generation of powerful cameraphones by Sony Ericsson which have long kept the first place when it comes to camera-in-phone performance."

...SE have LONG kept the FIRST place...

there's no need to argue
which is best in cam phones.

    I would like to buy this phone when it comes out in the UK. Anyone got any release dates for it yet? I like the standby times of SE phones and this has some damn good specs.

      Whoa there Jerichon, where did you get those specs from? Can you get me the specs for the Toshiba G900 or is it just the SE phones? Cheers

        and wat about nokia trying hard to sell its n-series changing the name to music edition and adding only a handsfree that sucks even more.. isn't nokia copycat?

              N82 if and when will come,
              will be much bigger than this, it wont have any better display and will have half the battery of k850...

                k850i is great phone, i had k750i now, k850i is far better than k750i, but i am waiting for nokia N82, because this had 5mp camera, wifi, gps, 16m colors. cheers

                        i wil go for this model after i sell my n73 ME definitly bcos is cool to b back wit SE again... i like SE music interface more than Nokia BUT 1 things they never state is what is the maxium m2 card can hold? 1 GB or 2 GB...or maybe 4 GB....?

                          And I just noticed that the phone had a NINE hour talk time. 9! Yay haha long lasting phone. But I bet if you listen to music...the phone won't last a day like eveyr other phone. Its all good though, a phone is a phone, it isn't an iPOD or anything.

                            If a 5 MP could be a copy...does that mean that the next phone with 10 MP is a copy of what Samsung showed us? Its just advancement in technology. Sharp couldn't advertise it and made it known, oh wow. SE just took it's time and made everything worth it. Every manufacture produces different products. Nokia has a 5 MP...and? Its the phone that people love. Deal with it, haha. SE released a nice looking phone right here though

                                how did SE copy. If sharp makes a 3.2mp phone then sony cant what kind of reasoning is that??!!?! And if you didn't know sharp doesn't have 5mp phone and the fist 3.2mp was Casio A5406CA not Sharp.

                                  Im not sure I know anyone that will take a Sharp over SE, yes Sharp deserves respect in that sense, but what they did with it after introducing it doesn't compare to what SE has done for the mobile market.

                                  So far I have heard the k850 does support flash menus, first of k series to do this, can anyone confirm this?

                                    2007-06-16 03:47:21 SE is a copycat, it cant make its own phone... they only copy... for example, the first 3.2mp phone was made by Sharp, V903SH then SE copied using a cmos lens sensor which is the K800i then the first 5.0mp phone was also made by Sharp,...


                                    so u compare SE and Sharp ?!? wtf ?!

                                        WOW!!!!!!!! Amazing phone. I will say leave N95 and take this one. One of the best at the moment. Well brilliant phone and great. It is the possibly the 1st or 2nd mobile phone at the moment. Buy it!!
