nokias have bad battery life, how can you enjoy listening to your mp3s , camera shooting, video recording, web browsing etc. if you 're battery is low, huh? unless you bring your charger all the time or borrow chargers from others hehe be practical ok

eNVy:
try something new on K850, it has features not yet so common in market. W960 is a combined W950, P1, PSP(the GUI) and K800 in one no more new about it aside from the new walkman touch player though it's fantastic.

Thanks OcmG, that's the answer I was looking for. Great to know, that will be an interesting feature and can't wait to try that out, but just to make sure, the motion sensor refers to the auto rotate (as it says on SE website), but your saying it is the same feature that enables shake control, so hoping your right, can't wait to buy this phone.
What if I was thinking of getting either this phone or the w960, what do you people have to say about that?

some of you may think that in Genaral aspects, SE lags behind nokia in making great displays. this is a false opinion imho. just looks at the SE Japan, they have 16M bravia displays with WQVGA screen and an optical chip similar to the bravia optical engine. so SE is not really behind in display technology, they just don't use it for the sake of mass market expansion. anyway 16M screens are too battery consuming that's why SE further focuses more on battery improvement than screen improvement. by one time SE discovers a new type of battery better than Li-pol type, then they'll surely brought us even the 32bit screen. 16M screen is just too early to be considered from SE since they are the one of the best in battery and if they use it in phones like this one, they would probably fail to make their batteries stable. nokia on the other hand which has a larger profit and market share can perform any phone production with all the incredible features at less time compared to SE, but they hardly invest on making the phone more stable and qualitative which SE mostly invest on.(for example developing S60 software first before releasing the phone with that software prematurely, that's why nokia degrades it's name in the eyes of the amateur user who knows nothing but to use the phone, not oftenly updating it. will it hurt nokia to focus first on making the phone stable other than providing us software updates to fix the bugs once it's been in the market for months already?) that's why since then most SE phones are found to be more stable and qualitative than nokias--a general fact for a long time already:) it'll be a better idea if software updates would only be mean to increase it's performance rather than both fixing bugs and increasing performance.
anyway since the phone supports both microsd and M2 cards, they seem starting to incorporate SE japanese phone features little by little:)

This phone is going to include the motion sensor (the shaking feature on the W580/W960).. and it's going to have the same music player version as the W960/W910.. version 3.0.. but the sound quality will not be as good as the walkman series mentioned above.. obviously..

I would really want to know how well this phone records video. Sony makes excellent camera phones, but all the video recording function sucks on pretty much everything. If they boost up the quality to at least VGA 30FPS (like the Nokia E90), then it'll be finally a leap ahead from previous SE phones

Ew, N99?
Seems like it's going to be over 1k.
I find this phone to be better then that other peice of plastic because it's cheaper and will gives quality features.
More megapixels? useless
More storage space? useless, because this can support the MicroSD 4gb
A wider screen? Useless if it's Nokia
No one's going to buy it anyway.
Everyone around here buys things like RAZR and W850 because they are perfect. Anything higher is just like a phone with too much makeup on it.
But this phone is nice, I'd only get it if it's around 500US though.

I used the K800 for a week or so - then passed on the k810 now finaly a phone that is worth buying once again. a true business tool with an incredible camera and the ability to send via edge/gprs/hsdpa - this is now that ericsson is all about.

Does k850 have shake control for the music player, which allows you to shuffle songs just by holding a button and shaking the phone?? Like the w series (w580 & w960)?
