For those who compare it with N95, think of the size and battery life, which goes positively to K850.
Also, I think there will be a considered price difference betwean the both.
So, I think when considering value over price, K850 wins over N95. Otherwise, step up for the P1.

I think that this SE is gonna be better than N95.

Any of you own the phone? Probably not, so don't come up with biased judgement that this phone is better than the N95. Im an SE fan but most you have gone overboard with praising this ugly phone. I was anxious when I heard the phone came out, but its a huge disappointment. Other than the camera, EDGE, and the new 3G like technology, this is one ugly phone with keys that are not practical. Verdict: too many features into a small phone.

Nokia N95 has had its Blast and will Only Appeal to Them Who want the *Symbian* Platform and Bad Battery life.
While the SE K850i will Appeal to Those who Want a Practical Easy to Use Camera Phone and that's were the Mass Market is.

the phone looks ugly, at the back especially. looks like some improved kiddy camera shell used to store candy. think the arrow keys will be hard to use, but its a good idea to substitute the confirm key with "5". however, wont the action for "enter" and the numeral "5" clash while using since they both share the same button? (correct me if im wrong)
feeling disgruntled at the moment coz i bought a k810i 3weeks ago. its awesome, just that the camera kinda lags coz it takes a while to shoot a photograph after you hit the button (having the red eye and autofocus and flash) :s

The SE K850 will be the best camera cell phone by far. I have the K790 and the pics quality is just amazing. NOKIA can hide them self of shame with the N95: way too expensive and battery life, doesn't last more than a day.
K850 VS N95
The N95 has better features but doesn't match the quality and the speed of SE.
THE K850 price will be around $580US first day out! Compare to Nokia N95 $950US first day out!
SE knows how to please their customer!

I am an SE fan since T610,p900,k700,k750,w800,w850,k800 .....
even install 2 hcb-700 in my cars because I love se phones ... but after I bought n95, I feel that se is left behind nokia's .... I am now aiming for e90 ...
I will still keep my SEs, but nokia has become part of my gadget list now ....

nice phone,I'm looking forward to buy it.
And for people who looking all in one phone, you not gonna get it from SE. cybershot for camera and wlakman for music. better camcorder in cellphone? a handycam line? or maybe VAIO line in SE then you'll have it all.. but it's all about bussiness for SE and it's gonna be about all feature that you can use for you.
currently own : SE K800i,K610i,W800,W850i,W950i,P990i and Motorola ROKR E6

:( i was looking forward to this phone but it is a big letdown :(( i think SE are losing it......5mp camera yes but poor looking phone with bad keys.....no infrared for connecting to friends entry level phones...i am sticking with k800 unless the specifications improve:(

to the guy who said n95 has lag, unstable os, lose sliding mechanism.......first of all there are firmware updates and they fix all the bugs and as soon as the first firmare for the phone comes out the phone becomes very stable...no lag and no instability.....the lose sliding thing could be just a manufacture problem so give it back and get new one....and if k850i had gps and wifi it would drain the battery same as n95
