..hi guYs specially for (n's) who says that k800 pics is more good than this phone...

..yah it's true!..BUT the truth is,the pictures taken on this phone become yellow and duLL because the flash bulb of the xenon flash is 'yellow' while the bulb in k800 is white..!!try to observe it!..that's why the k800 pictures is brighter than this phone.

..so i suggest is to buy the "K850 quicksilver edition" because the xenon flash bulb of that edition is white...i saw it in k850 pictures on this website GsmArena..
..or if you already have k850 w/ yellow xenon flash bulb,go to any cellphone shop & replace it w/ white one.

The only successful Cyber-Shot phone was only the k800i
other Cyber-Shot phones tried to be a successor but failed due to faulty hardware,Software issues and Lower image quality

Here are some devices that tried to be a great successor of the great k800i's success

K810i-It is a remake of the k800i having a slimmer body. But some of the photo reviews of www.phonearena.com that this phone's camera sensor has some kind of grey filter resulting in a low contrast and lack of color saturation and there were keypad issues about it

K850i-It was meant to be a successor of the K800i due to the improved UI and an upgrade of the megapixel count, but in our suprise image quality didn't really improve, and there were a lot of problems like the BROD and the wearing out of the 3 touch sensitive soft keys, and faulty hardware keys.

C905-Alas the first announced 8 megapixel phone. It improved in terms of image quality, but still it ain't the best 8 megapixel phone (Remember K800i was the best 3.2 megapixel phone) and there problems about the keypad and speakers

                    Speaking of......

K770i-It has a nice neat camera cover,a slim waistline, but it had smaller screen size, the camera flash wasn't a Xenon one,and again we find another keypad problems

C702-The dust and splash resistant Cyber-Shot,it had a better sensor, but not a better flash,it has a dual led rather than Xenon. And naming it dust and Splash resistant doesn't seem quite good cause the Fast port slot is not equipped with a cover

C510-Dubbed as the most affordable Cyber-Shot,I heard that the phone seemed to shoot like the k800i outdoors, but indoors it didn't turn quite good as it is also equip with a dual led

C902-The slim 5mp phone had a nice design and a sleek feature, but the image was a 2 incher, but it seems OK ,but it lacked something important and again it was the flash, but was replace with the new photo led,but nothing can really beat Xenon in indoor shooting

C903-Inspired by the Sony Digital Camera T-series with a cute sliding lens cover, but again lacked the proper Digicam flash resulting again to a less image quality indoors

Well I just can't think that Sony Ericsson is putting much effort here,it's like problems here and there, poor image quality for a camera phone. But there is still hope there are some new Cyber-Shot models that make the Cyber-Shot branding the best again liked what the k800i Three years ago.

Here are some phones that might interest you

Idou-(Still no model name or line up but I guess it'll be a cyber-shot branding) It has a touch screen hoping it'll be a capacitive one, having a 12 megapixel sensor,it will be also equip with a new Symbian UI,but I surely hope that their Video capabilities will further improve, like HD video recording, just like Omnia HD and Dolby for our audio system, that would be one heck of a Multimedia Machine, but what's important is that they could make it one of the Best imaging device.

C901-now released in other countries but I think it'll not be world wide it has a 5 megapixel sensor,a Xenon flash, and video light. We're just hoping that next time would release a device like this it should be worldwide.

There you have it my thoughts for the Cyber-Shot branding.

stupid question: is it possible to use the tracker application without using the HGE-100 GPS enabler, maybe by just simple network triangulation? does anyone have the HGE-100 GPS enabler? how is it?

After owning one for 3 months my phone retired. Too bad. I am a SE fanatic but this phone disappointed me. After 2 days of use, i got restarts. In a week i get probably 3 restarts. The LCD just turned off, and its gone. So Sad. When i had it checked by a technician he said MOST of the phones problem is associated with its LCD because, the circuit is directly embedded under the keypad which is a bit hard to press that's why ur really exerting some force in the circuit which runs to the LCD and that makes the circuit be worn out. After having it fixed, i sold it. Now I miss SE fones. Hope i could buy one. I am SE fanatic, still.
